Subjects

Love your concept, but wouldn't it be nice to see the world as Christ intended with showing the reality of the world. This world that has a bit of all different people,. i.e race, large and small or perhaps handicap. etc. Not every perfect holiday, wedding etc is only show a perky perfect couple. (It is not realistic)
Please let a Love of All peoples interest begin with Hallmark in showing that you embrace everyone in the upcoming stories.

Hopeful....

Christmas Movies

I HATE those Christmas movies coming on in October and also that they are on 24/7. Those of us that like to watch The Middle, Golden Girls, Frasier and Cheers have to go and find another channel to watch. If I wake up during the night, I need the TV to lull me back to sleep. Those darn Christmas movies sure don't do it!!!!!! I wish you would just show them on weekends or something like that. TOO MUCH TOO SOON!!!!!!

Hallmark Movies and Mysteries

I love Christmas BUT...not in October!!!! On both Hallmark Channels too!!! It's off the charts!! I turned on Hallmark movies and mysteries this morning and it is filled with Christmas movies!! Where is Columbo, Matlock, Monk, Diagnosis Murder???? So disappointed !!!! I will have to find another channel to watch during the day cause I'm not watching Christmas until after Thanksgiving!!! This is way too much!!!! Our provider is not carrying the new Hallmark Drama channel.

Please. STOP IT. CHRISTMAS IS IN DECEMBER. ITS NOT EVEN NOVEMBER

I hate that both channels are swamped with Christmas movies. Somehow Home and Family make it but my Golden Girls don't???? And then your other channel-- no mysteries at all? No Columbo? No Dr. Sloan or Matlock???? This is horrible I literally won't be watching either channel until January...this kills any tiny spark or excitement I have for the holidays by ramming it down my throat....It's too early. One channel could show Christmas movies for a week or so before Christmas and that would sufficient. Ugh!!!!

Too Much Too Early

I would like to add my complaint to the mix regarding airing Christmas movies 24/7 starting before Halloween. I love your usual lineup the rest of the year, and I could really use some Diagnosis Murder, The Middle and I Love Lucy to get me through the stress of the holidays. And if I can't sleep in the middle of the night, I really appreciate those half-hour sitcoms as well. It's bad enough that shopping malls are shoving Christmas down our throats too early, but now so are you. I don't think you realize how appreciated your schedule is 10 months out of the year, or you wouldn't completely obliterate it in October. Please rethink this.

Too Much Christmas

I hate this time of year on Hallmark. Non-stop Christmas movies starting in October is so annoying. There are old shows I love watching in the evening - they are my way to relax. And now they are all gone again until January. Please stop forcing us to watch these dumb movies! Basically, they are all the same movie anyway, just with different actors. The plots are predictable and uninteresting. If you have to do some kind of Christmas marathon, at least wait until December. I'm already sick of Christmas, thanks to your channel.

Christ in Christmas

Hallmark, you claim to be a Christian Network. And you advertise Hallmarks Christian line of home and tree decorations during programs. The Hallmark stores have a good deal of Christian merchandise.
Where did Jesus Christ go to in your Christmas movies? References to Him are scares and more scares.
Yet your movie characters say "oh God" in almost every movie of the last 18 months. I watch closed captioning.
So, Larry Levinson, you approve movies that don't show Christ, nor the Cross and cut religious lines from Christmas songs
but do allow swearing.
Time for you to go.
I love the Hallmark movies but miss the depth you remove.
Christ is Christmas. Merry Christmas!
May God bless you all.

NO DIVERSITY

Hallmark Christmas movies appear to set in the early 1940's or 1950's in television when no diversity was recognized in American television. How sad that during the holiday season for this message to be sent out that no other race in America matters!

christmas "movies"

Whoever thought Christmas "movies" would sustain an audience used to quality productions and legendary actors such as Frasier,Cheers, and I love Lucy? I am inconvenienced but am simply using my Apple tv to replicate what Hallmark used to provide. I won't be back now that i have invested in another source with more choices.

Operation Christmas

I did not like how the movie ended. I would've liked to see ALL of the husbands come home instead of just one.

I love your Christmas line up! I love watching them. I also like watching them and disagree with multiple others that you should diversify, quite frankly, there are enough diverse programs out there for everyone, keep your shows as is!

received the message that Christmas belongs in December - not in October and not in November.

I celebrate Christmas but not for 2 months, I think December is plenty of time for the Christmas themed stories. Before Halloween, come on! Leave80895 them for the month of December or at least after Thanksgiving!

Need Diversity More

I am a really big fan of the Hallmark Movie Channell and I love all of the Christmas movies, but I have one complaint. There is never a black, Hispanic or Asian family in the lead rolls. Christmas is celebrated by a lot of people from around the world. and you need to include more diversity into your holiday movies. I will always watch but it would be nice to see other races included in the celebratrions . Christmas is for everyone.......Keep up the good work Love all of the movies.....

Christmas Movies too early

I do not understand WHY on earth you are showing Christmas movies before Halloween!!!!!!!!!! Totally ridiculous!! I pay extra for your channel and I am really pissed that this is your line up for the next 2 months! I did not get Hallmark to be forced to watch Christmas movies for 2 months...I got it for the movies and mysteries...what is wrong with you people???????? Not to mention Christmas is a difficult time for a lot of people...and can be very depressing. To have Christmas shoved down our throats in October..well I am giving thought to disconnecting your channel.....this is WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Movies So Early, So Many!

Reiterating irritation with Christmas Movies so early and so many! I'm probably one of the few people that LOVE Columbo and hate to see the schedule disrupted so early with holiday movies in October and November! Guess i'll order the series from amazon and cease watching Hallmark for remainder of year.

Music in background

I have to agree with others who say the background music in movies is way too loud! I thought it was just me but it appears others think the same. Very distracting and nerve racking! Even if you use surround sound it is too loud!

Commercials!

I love Christmas movies but I have to say, they seem to be the same ones every year. My main complaint is the same for all movies you air, too many commercials! For every 7 minutes of show you play 5 minutes of commercials! No other channels have this insane amount of commercials! I refuse to watch live or I would never make it through the whole movie. Thinking of canceling the hallmark package all together.

Programming

As a Hallmark movie viewer ... I would love to experience more authenticity in Hallmark movies. I talk with others who appreciate Hallmark but agree the movies have become same scenarios played out with different faces & locations. Seasons are not authentic. Snow covered trees full of summer green doesn't convince. Same for character depiction. Un-fluff, flaw, incorporate more age groups, honest situations, and actors that own their roles. Depicting adults with high school, voice-grinding characters is a bit of an insult to the most. Perfect hair, makeup, clothes are detractors. There is beauty in relatable situations, diverse characters, plots that draw in the viewer. Viewers, I've learned, who become involved with characters, is because they relate ... not just watch. Christmas movies most often end up with romance, 2 people ... the beauty of Hallmarks opportunity is to expand the focus. Incorporate layers in writing, depth and diversity in actors. From individual to family to neighbors to community where people reach out, accomplish something, helps others, discover connections and experience important, even spiritual awakenings. If Hallmark can't send the message America is waiting for ... who can, who will?
Thank Alee

Already tired of Christmas

I wholeheartedly agree with everyone else. I just can't do 2 months of Christmas movies. This is why I am so sick of Christmas every year. They start playing Christmas music before Halloween is over. Stores start putting out Christmas crap. And now, you are joining in with the overcommercialization of a season that's supposed to be about giving and has become nothing but an ad for consumerism. So Halloween and Thanksgiving don't make you enough money. We just skipping the now?

I would come home every morning after working night shift just in time for the Golden Girls and would leave Home and Family on to follow. So I gotta find something else now for the next 2 months because I can't do this sappy mess for that long.

And I agree. The diversity of your shows is a joke. GGs was about the only thing showing where you could get any kind of diversity. See you in January. Maybe.
