Minstreatment by the store Manager

On the 23rd January 2014, I called Truworths Vaal Mall, spoke to a lady by the name of Palesa. I requested her to set aside a DH skirt for me, susequent to that i called Head Office ( Wazilwa - 021 4602982) requesting her to process the item through fashion delivery . Wazilwa then called me back allerting that Vaal Maal is saying the item is damaged, i assured her that i am willing to buy the item as is due to the fact my intention was to alter the item. The item was size 40 as 38 and 36 was sold out. my right size is 36.

I have been continuously calling Vaal Maal to find out about my garment, i was send from pillar to post. This morning i called the store again and spoke to Palesa personnaly who displayed a don't care attitude towards me, to add salt to the wound the manager also took the line from Palesa and displayed the same attitude. He even gave me his full name and work number if i want to report him. His name is Simon Makume - 9213627.

I am really frastated by the attitude displayed by the manager at Vall Mall, more especiaaly if its true that he is the manager. All i am asking is for Truworths to source the below garment for me due to the fact I bought a jacket already for that skirt, unless i be given authority to the return the jacket even though the time has lapsed.

Truworths sold me a DAMAGED MTN cell phone

On the 13th of December I bought a blackberry and Nokia for teenage cuzins that were visiting me before Christmas. The Nokia works fine but the Blackberry did not work we were told we have 7 days to come back to the store if the phone did not work and we came back 3 days later where we were told we should have come back the same day. Truworths happily took my money and told me that I damaged the phone. This is unacceptable as they sold me a damaged phone. I am not a technical expect when it comes to phones but if its damaged and they want to hide behind technicalities it is unfair practice to steal customer money.

To whom it may concern I was a holder of a truworths acc that later went to arrears two years ago it was paid up to my suprise my name hasn't been cleared up to date.l recently went to truworths to inquire what to do'l was given a number of the attorney who handled my acc, in return the attorneys told me that they did send me a clearance letter on my e-mail acc but to my suprise l did not receive that e-mail on the 11 of sep my e-mail add is [email protected] and my I. Good day I had an account with Truwoths and finished paying it. I realised now that I have an outstanding amount of R100 which is registered as a default on my account. I cannot understand how that is possible because I personnaly went in and payed the full amount directly at the store. Please assist my ID number 7806230425087. I'm so pissed off @truworths because I lost my job and I cld not pay my account.last year I finally managed to settle my debt and some lady said I wld be cleared but to my suprise when I tried to buy a car this month they said I'm blacklisted.when they want their money yhey will call u a thousand times but to write me a simple clearance letter is so difficult !! I will never ever have a truworths acc in my life!

hi there, i just received a terrifying news fron truworths that i am blacklisted due to their poor service i paid my account in full last year august and in november they sent me a confirmation letter telling me that my account is paid in full so later in september i received a call from Nashlyn Mullins and a manager from Truworths telling me that i over paid the account i must go get my R865.00 back so i went as per request so yesterday i tried applying for a credit card and i was told thta i owe truworths an amount of R1069.00 and i am handed over to more lawyres so i went to the store and they told me its late they will call me back today i received a call from a rude lady who told me it is my fault that truworths told me to go get the money back they cannot help me i must go pay the money i owe them so please can someone advise me of any lawyers who can help me regarding this nonsnesne from Truworths please

I have been a Truworths account holder for about 4 years(my first account i ever opend). I lost my job in last year but still managed to make some payments, in this period i made arrangements with the accounts department. This month i paid R500 and made arrangements that i know i am still behind in my account and that i am trying my best to get it up to date. To my suprise i received a final notification stating that Truworths will be taking court action. Is this possible seeing as i have been paying and making arrangements as i go along?
Could someone please advise me for i do not know which way to turn.

Dear Sir/Madam - I received your marketing advices - which recommended that I go to Truworths Sandton for free sample of a perfume. I received my message at 12:03 - went to Truworths Sandton at 4 and was advised by Personnel that the samples were distributed and finished at 10am. All I am saying - PLEASE do not waste our time - that is 'false advertising' !!! I have to say ... this the Branch Manager promised to solve the issue and revert to me, and in 'True Truworths' style (what they say - cannot be trusted) advised me that Marketing Manager was in a meeting, and then promptly went and forgot about me! How important are we as Customers... is it a matter of getting the feet into your Store on False Pretext??? Amina Khan
