Shoe Attendant

This is by far the best Truworths in the country by far, but one person makes this whole place an unpleasant shopping experience. On 3 different occasions the lady working at the shoe department of the Vaal Mall Truworths, were too lazy to go check for shoes in the back. You can choose any shoe on the shelf, when you ask her for a size she answers you straight away NO. So my husband has chosen any shoe on the shelf to test her, and she still said no. So for a big Truworths like the one at the Vaal Mall they only have 1 size for all their shoes displayed. Why display shoes if you only have 1 size in the first place. Other stores the ladies will have the decency to go and check or double check for you in the back, but at vaal Mall the answer is NO FOR ALL SHOES ON THE FLOOR. What an embarrassing experience!!!

Amount Refund after robbery.

My girlfriend was robbed at gun point and asked for a pin for a Capitec Bank card. The criminals then ran and went to swipe for R4000 at Truworths using the Capitec Bank card and pin. I would like to know that Truworths will refund the amount back to the bank account as we have a case for this and this was not a legal transaction.

Exchange

Today I went to exchange in Queenstown Truworths Carthcart Street a belt and neck piece that were bought yesterday in Hemmingways East London Truworths,the neck piece was still intact nothing removed,the belt the tag was removed but not worn and I brought the tag with me.I requested a bigger size of the belt they did not have therefore opted to exchange back.I requested the manager of the shop as the assistant could not fully assist,the manager gave me attitude and requested one of the assistants to check the neck piece did not go with earrings as if I had stolen the earnings,I requested we call the head office he refused and stated I am the one with a complaint therefore I should call for myself.That is new to me because when ever I have a problem in the store or regarding my account in any store the call is made from there.That manager is undermining and unprofessional,please call him unto order and I expect an apology or I will close my account with emmidiate effect.

Good day I went to truworths paarl lady grey street store number 511 to exchange my Uzi sneakers which I had bought jus a few days before, to my surprise the store manager Abigail was so rude and agured with me saying the shoes was use , as I explain to here that I work and I did not get the chance sins yesterday to exchange the shoes, she was rude and took me on in front of the hole ful of customers making as if I'm a criminal and looking to score smothng I still dnt knw what, I am a loyal and paying customers sins 2009 whn I open my account I'm very disappointed and unhappy would like feed back and also something done about this matter .0718743040

I bought a Bulgaria perfume on Sunday the 23.10.2016 @ Eastgate Mall for R1300.00, but to my suprise the fragranse does not even last 5 minutes. Is Truworths selling fake perfumes ?????????????????.

voucher thats no longer valid

Pethetic way of makling a profit on gift cards.I recieved a gift card and only used half of it when i used this card the staff member never said to me that it woud expire and that i needed to use it before a certain period of time.I havnt used the card as i didnt see anything that i liked and now when i wanted to use the card im told i cannot ive lost the available credit on the card as it has expires.Does thruworths real;ly not have any ethics when it comes to gift cards.So i can only imagine the amount of profit thruworths makes on these so called expired cards and maybe the retail ombudsman should be informed about your process.

Bad service

The store manager at your promenade storeTanya she has a very bad attitude as if she is doing me a favor by helping me . I bought my wife jewelry of which I was explained on the day of purchase that I can not return the earings but the bracelet and ring I could bring back if my wife was not happy .. A few days later I brought back the ring and bracelet as my wife noticed the items was broken the bracelet clip was broken and the ring was slightly bent ... She did not wear the items as I bought it as a present for her so she noticed the problems when I have it to her so I decided to take it back to the store and the manager Tanya was so unprofessional she spoke so loud as if we purposefully broke the items loud remarks in a full store so now it looks as if me and my wife were trying to pull one over on truworths and all I wanted was a replacement ... Tanya took the items and said she would phone me as she has to send it away for quality check .. Three weeks later still no phone call . I went to the store and enquired about the queries .. I spoke to another cashier who directed me to Tanya who again spoke extremely loud saying We phoned your wife (they do not have my wife's number) and we reversed the credit back into your account and she walked off without a explanation .. I am a paying customer at truworths and I don't need to be treated like a criminal when I go shopping . Please teach your managers about people skills .. This is unacceptable . Constant phonecalls

I have been receiving regular phone calls from 08728544066. If I answer, it is the Truworths call centre asking my to press a key for this or another for that. Once I thought I had missed a genuine call and phoned back, only to find Ms Electronic Truworths again.

Please note that I do not shop at Truworths or any of its susidiaries and in furutre will make certain that I never do. I consider your calls to be an invasion of my privacy.

What I will do though is add Truworths to my case study list of pests who successfully chase customers away. I train sales and marketing in centres around SA.

Please don't let me hear from you agin. If I do, I will gladly put you on Face book and Hello Peter.

Terrible Customer Service

To whom it may concern


Please note that I have received the attached text message after numerous messages and taking numerous telephone calls. Please do not call me again. This is the first time that I have defaulted with payment because of a loss of a family member, as I had to pay for funeral costs and medical bills. Your call centre agents are bombarding me with texts and phone calls. I will ensure that this is paid as advised in my email below and I will close my account with you because you are certainly very ignorant and inconsiderate to your customers. I just lost my dad and I have to put up with all these calls and texts after advising you of the payment arrangement.

I will close my account. Please advise you call centre agent Charmaine and whoever else is really worrying me that I am very upset that she/they keeps calling me even after me sending you the correspondence about the payment arrangement.

I always purchase at Identity and always make payments on time. Unfortunately I will stop all further purchases from your store. I did not have any issues with the other stores that I called and emailed regarding my issue this month just Identity.

It's not easy losing a loved one and putting up with these calls and text and emails even after advising that I will make payment. I will also close my Truworths Account because of this! This is not how you treat a loyal customer who has a problem for just ONE month.

Opening of truworths account

Good morning.Yesterday i went Truworth Highveld mall to open an account having all the documents needed.The service desk help me and then told me that the account was declined.Then she called the head office of wanting to find out the reason.She couldn't get hold of them,it decided to use my cell phone and i spoke to a lady she was so rude saying dat i have alote of accounts and spoke about the adgars account of which was paid up and closed last year december.When i try to explain she cut me off on da phone.It was so cold and unprofessional because i have a good credit record.Till now i am in the dark of what is really the reason i could'nt get an account from Truworths because i have two retail accounts which i've opened last month and a loan from nedbank for my car.

silver ring bough

I bought a silver ring worth R350 and a week later one of the stones on ring fell out I then query it and now get told no warranty on this ring,don't make sense as all stores cover this services...very disappointed as it is a gift bough by my hubby and wearing it as wedding band

I'm very disappointed with the service I recived today at truworths mall@carnival. I revived a R750 skirt as a gift.Unfortunatly it was a size too small. I have been to lakeside mall, eastrand mall, trade route and lastly to mall@carnival looking for my sizee. What a dissapointment not one store had my size so I decided to look for something else only to be told by ur manager that I cannot do a SIMPLE exchange as the gift was not bought on my account (do keep in mind I have a reciept) . What ever happend to customer service? Truworths is the only company that gives customers such a difficult time. I personally would never shop there again and wouldn't recommend any1 of my friends either.

Am soohh surprised of u sanding me adds weeks I haven't paid my acc, all of it, then u treated me like a person who won't pay it,it was just a request of one month but, it was like am a criminal, and I did explain to ur offices in cape town, but when it came to me it wa like am running away with ur money, thy were crazy charges, that I had to pay, my request is that pls don't sand me any of year adds anymore,ni 2 I know when must I pay, no 3 plz I don't bother u don't, Sto. high priced items,Poor quality

I bought a bag in April this year I paid R380 for this bag,(which is not cheap) but the bag start to get cut (cracks), clearly this is not value for money!! what do I do. I see all the complaint on the website but no reply from Truworths H.O complaint. Im waiting your reply!

Legal Department

I paid my account in December'16 fully and I have been sending letters through fax and email in Jan'16 then finallyI was told that my name will be removed from ITC.

Today I receive a report from Credit Bureau that my account is still in 9 months errears and I called the legal department and I found this cold lady on the phone saying my letter wasn't attended to and that I should have followed up.

There was no apology or sign of regret and i was told the send the letter again to the very same email that I send in January'16.

It is very disturbing to require an assistance to someone who is not willing to assist

I want my name cleared that's all

APPROACH BY CALLERS ON OUTSTANDING BALANCE

I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH TRUWORTHS FOR OVER 23 YEARS NOW. WHAT I NOTICED WITH THEM IS THAT EVEN IF YOU ARE BEHIND WITH R50 THEY WILL CALL DAILY WITH A HORRIBLE APPROACH. I LOST MY SISTER IN FEBRUARY BUT HAVE BEEN PAYING MY ACCOUNT, IT WAS ONLY ONE MONTH WHICH I SKIPPED STILL TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH MY FINANCIAL STATUS. I GOT DAILY CALLS FROM RUDE LADIES CALLING ME DAY AND NIGHT AND EVEN ON MY OFFICE LANDLINE. I WILL UNFORTUNATELY NOT TALK TO PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY CAN TALK TO US CLIENTS AS THEY PLEASE JUST BECAUSE WE ARE OWING. I AM NOT OWING THEM BUT TRUWORTHS AND THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK TO ME THE WAY THEY LIKE. PERHAPS TRUWORTHS SHOULD GET TIPS FROM WOOLWORTHS ON HOW THEY TRAIN THEIR STAFF WHEN CALLING CUSTOMERS WHO ARE BEHIND WITH THEIR PAYMENTS. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS WITH TRUWORTHS' COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT. I WILL PAY MY ACCOUNT BUT WILL NOT ANSWER TO ANY OF THE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE WHO GOT JOBS BECAUSE SOME OF US ARE OWING BUT SEE THAT AS PLATFORM TO SHOUT AT US. IF THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH WHY ARE THEY THERE DOING THAT KIND OF A JOB??

Tygervalley Lack of Service

On 04/06/2016 I did a customer request at Truworths Tygervalley and I still have not received any communication from the store. On 06/08/2016 I went for the 2nd time to enquire about the request, only then I was enformed a mistake accured and the courier company would deliver the next week. Bianca ( sales ass) assured me they would contact me. I even left my email address with her. Up unto this day I have heard nothing from Truworths. This disregard for customer service is extremely upsetting. I wont go in store again to waist my time there.

Wrong Sized shoes

IM SO ANNOYED WITH TRUEWORTHS RIGHT NOW. I BOUGHT A PAIR OF SIZE 8 HEMISPHERE SHOES BACK IN MAY 2016. REALISED THAT THESE SHOES WERE NOT EAVEN EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BOTH MARKED SIZE 8. THE RIGHT SHOE WAS LONGER THAT THE LEFT SHOE. TOOK THESE SHOES BACK TO THE STORE (TRUEWORTHS ORANGE FARM MALL) THEY INDEED DETECTED THE SAME PROBLEM THEY I HAD, TOOK THE SHOES AND GAVE A NEW PAIR OF UZZI SNEAKERS. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD TAKE THE SHOES BACK TO THE SUPPLIER. I THEN GOT A CALL YESTERDAY SAYING I SHOULD COME COLLECT THOSE SHOES AS THE SUPPLIER DIDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG, AND IM EXPECTED TO PAY FOR BOTH PAIRS (THE HEMISPHERE AND THE UZZI SHOES THAT THEY GAGE ME AS REPLACEMENT) THEY ALSO GAVE ME THE ATTACHED LETTER, CONTADICTING EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED ON THE DAY I SENT THOSE SHOES. Refusal of return

Fake Voucher

After opening the account I recieved an sms saying that I have a Voucher on the value of R750.00

After 2 months of purchase I got a call to tell me that I need to pay for my account whilst I thought that I used a voucher.

Exchange of device in 7days denial

Good day

My name is Busie khoza (10101542486014). I purchased a phone(Sumsang Galaxy J1 ace neo) on the 26 July 2016 on 29 July the phone went totally blank and was returned to the store on for the 7 day warranty to get a new phone. We were told I can't be exchanged because they're minor invisible stretches on the side of which can't be a reason for the faulty phone with no fracture. The terms and conditions subsection 5.a reads the 7 out of The box failure : in the event that your device has manufacturing detect and is identified and communicated I the first7 (seven) days from the date of purchase, the complete unit (with inbox in box accessories and packaging ) can be returned for a possible exchange on the same model or a refund subjected to the device being assessed at the MAN Service and repair centre. As its not a refund why am I subjected to MTN service and repair centre and the devices is communicated within 7 days.

The manager Christina of truworths at Benoni Lake Side contradicts the terms and conditions. We are unsatisfied with the service we recieve with manager pointing scratches we the electronic adviser(Lerato) removed a plastics covering the device. There is a possibility that I might be penalised for other sctraches that appears because of the removed plastic covers that were there when its was bought back

Unhelpfull service to clients with no accounts

Good day

I can't believe if you don't have a account at Truworths you can be treated so bad! I buy my clothes from Truworths for so many years and then get told by 2 stores (Carnivall Mall / Lakeside Mall) if you want a item to be ordered that I really like I have to open a account when I phoned head office for assistance. I don't mind paying for the item even to order or just tell me where to find it. Looks like cash paying clients is invisible to the stores. I think I must just find myself another place to spend my money! absolutely disappointed in Truworths after all these years.

Urgent- MBD Harrasment

I am being harrased on a daily bases by MBD Collections in regards to a Truworths account. I have never opened a account with them. The rude operators is treating me and told me the account was handed to them in April. I contacted Truworths and the operator confirmed that there is no open account on my ID number. She also said that there is a account which they offering to me with a credit limit of R1600. She said she will refer this to new accounts.

watch returned to the store zewenwacht

Good day

I am so disappointed really with Truworths, firstly I was very skeptical on opening an account and decided to try Truworths because of its quality but to my surprise the customer service is really bad.

I bought a Watch on 11/2015 value of R850 and in January 2016 it started giving problems, I decided to take it back in March 2016 and I was told that it only take 2 weeks. I have been waiting for it since from March and even today it has not arrived, no one has ever bother to call me and explain as to what is the delay. I have been calling the customer care number and I have spoken to so many people but no ones seems to understand my frustration..

I was transferred to the complaints manager but I was kept on hold for more that 5mins and the call was dropped.

What must we do exactly for the company to see our frustrations, I don't even want the watch anymore, all I want is my money back so that I can go to another store to look for a better service. 0711339808 frustrated, angry and disappointed(Sindile)
