Unpaid UIF - waiting now since Sept 2015

My name is Marisca Swart and was retrench from Junk Mail during Aug 2015. Which I apply for UIF benefits during September 2015. Up and today I did not received any benefits as yet. Various phone calls took place as from September to date (11 Jan 16) on which apparently now it was approved and send to the paymaster on 15 December 2015. My claim was rejected 3 times due to document not received which were submitted almost 6 times and then as I was not fit for work and indicate it on the claim due to me on my last month pregnant. I was told that that I am not allowed to indicate a "no" on the form and change it twice before somebody indicated that it is now correct. After it was eventually approved and it was sent to the paymaster Iwas told to wait 10 working days to receive a payment. Today is the the 11th of Jan 2016 and did not received any payments. I phone the service desk on the 4th of Jan 16 and was told to phone again on the 11th as they can not assist as the people who are working with the payments will only start on the 11th and they will assist me. On the 11th I tried to phone the service desk four times on which I hold on every time for more than 44 min. and still could not get through.

The Department is there to assist unemployed people as we contribute toward this benefit when in need. During Oct 15 I gave birth and was relying on this benefits as I could not immediately source for new employment. Since I received no support or benefit from UIF it placed me and my new born child in a very difficult situation as I relied on that income to provide for my child and other financial support.

Department employed people who do not have the correct knowledge to support or willingness to assist to finalize a claim. They are route and unprofessional. They could not provide me with more detail or solutions other than what is visible on my registered uFiling status. Furthermore they keep on telling me they don't know what to do and I must phone again after certain days. First I must wait 10 days for the approval from the assessor, then another 10 days after it was denied - this carried on for 3 times. After it was submitted to the paymaster I was first told to wait 10 days and then I was told that it takes 35 days after it was approved. Every time a different story.

Is there anybody who can do something about this as I am now waiting to receive benefit for almost 6 months with no joy.

Second payout still pending for maternity benefit

I applied for maternity benefits in november 2015 of ehich all documents were correct and received first payment in december, i was told to submit more documents in december for second pay out and till date no payments received, i was told to submit final documents for final payment in january 2016 and till date it hasnt been paid, i have been calling the call centre and was on hold for 2 hours each time i called and still no answer! Please advise how do i get answers regarding my payments, i really hope someone can come back to as soon as possible.

Maternity UIF

My UIF maternity was paid twice with different reference numbers then rejected, I tried the head office for an appeal but phones don't get answered and fax doesn't go through. my second pay was not a third of my salary, it was December and they had closed for holidays, I am back at work and cannot get off work to go to the enquiry line that's why I tried head office. please help - I am in huge debt and arrears on my accounts. What do I do.

Maternity UIF

I applied for my maternity uif in September , have not received a penny . Everytime i go there for feedback im told i have outstanding documents which i have submitted. They keep on scanning the documents and will go on about their machines or scanner not working and system problems which has nothing to do with me . The service is poor and discusting im very much appauled by the service that they offering and want my money. Mike and Robert (SUPERVISOR) Can you guys start doing your jod properly and most importantly can i please be helped out.

Maternity Claim -No payment received

Good day,

I applied for my maternity benefit in 24 August 2015 when my maternity leave started, I had also at the time lost my job.
to date 07 January 2016 I have not received a penny from the UIF. I was advised it will be paid after 6 weeks when I called I was told the documents were not scanned on the system. They were finally scanned 30 days later.

Im not being notified and no response from the call center.

What is the issue, Please assist

maternity beniefit not paid as yet

I applied for my maternity benefit in November 2015 I got a date for the 6th of January when I get to the satellite offices they tell their is no laptops I need to come back on the 20 January I try calling the braamfontein offices no answer what can I do to find out if my uif has been approved and when will I get my first payment. So disappointed in the service. Can someone please assist it's urgent.

maternity UIF not paid

I applied for UIF maternity benefit in September 2015. I made numerous follow ups and when a pay was made it was 3% of my salary WHAT A JOKE!!!!!. I queried this with the UIF department and after numerous emails I was told a data capturer made a mistake and this will be sorted out in 14 days. Those days have lapsed an no response from the UIF department.

I find their service delivery extremely poor, you call send emails and they don't even respond. Where is my UIF money going if it is such a struggle to get it back when I have to. I am sick and tired of that department and if I had my way I would never pay UIF ever again.

Maternity benefits

I applied for maternity benefits on the 19 August 2015.
Yesterday, 6 Jan 2016 I called to make a follow up only to be to told UI- 19 and UI-2-3 it's not clear and I need to resubmit.

7 Jan m at Sandton Labour Centre to resubmit again since 19 August m doing one and the same thing .
Kanti when is enough, enough?

I won't stop neither get tired until this is resolved.
Will sue this department.

Unpaid Benefits

Hi there my name is Zondi Khazamula. I applied for Maternity Benefits on the 09October2015 at Orlando West (Soweto) and its not approved until now. Everytime I go and check I'm told there's a declaration date gab on my application. I went recently on the 04Jan2016 a 4th request will be sent to Braamfontein for the date to be fixed. Delay in benefit payouts and poor service

All the relevant documents were submitted in October 2015 and was confirmed by the UIF service representative. My 1st signing was done in November 2015 and cancelled by the paymaster a few days later without any reason. My continuation signing was done on 11 December 2015. I was fortunate to get through to the ufiling call centre on 21 December 2015 to query the delay, as the sms states the payout will be done within 5 to days.

The agent confirmed that all the paperwork is in order and the payout takes up to 10 days and I'll receive it be Christmas. This didn't happen as I'm still awaiting the payout and notice on my ufiling that "payment was cancelled by the paymaster" on 04 January 2016. I'm suppose to sign again in a few days time.

All attempts to get answers have failed.

Why are we paying uif for?
Why is the service so poor?
Why do you have to wait on a line for almost 30 minutes and be dropped?
When will I get my uif claims payed out?

Please assist with proper service and payouts

UIF - MATERNITY BENEFIT CLAIM

Good day,

I submitted a claim form for maternity benefits in August 2015.To date I keep on being told that the UI19 is lost.I keep on sending through fax and e-mail the requested form.To date there has been no feedback.Why should this be the case.Why does the department of labour delay people with paying out monies due to them?Can I please get help..

Uif

Case No : 10003352879 Never got paid December month calls get released and email respond is to rate the service but I never received service. I finally got through and was told they don't know when il get paid it's almost time to submit again but I can't coz December payment not recieved. Call center agent does not know what to tell me all they say is in don't know them release the call after 30 minutes on hold. She asked me if im not gonna wait for payment and she can't say how long then what am I gonna do about it. That's what they asked me. This goverment is quick to take ur money but refuse to pay you when they should they employ ppl who is not willing to work and instead of updating systems they fix roads that is nit broken with our tax. Give jobs to ppl unwilling to work. How long am I gonna wait for my uif if u don't wanna pay me then give me a job .

refusal of query

To who ever reads this.

I have called this number 27123371700 @ 10:50 on the 28 Dec 2015. I was told that no one can assist me with my uif payment as the security guard answers the phone? i have submitted it on the 22 Dec 2015. I will need to wait till after 5Jan 2015. Can someone -anyone pls assist.

roodepoort labour

I have submited my ui19 since from 23 april 2015 and i ahavent received any sms or call from the department. Everytime month i go there to check if they have aproved my uif money i dont get answeres all they do is give me a date when to come and check. I dont know if they really work or they just wasting people`s time cause all of my colleaguse got their uif money i dont really know whats wrong with mine cause they always giging me the same story when i go there, they dont even bother to check what is sort.

Maternity UIF not paid

I applied for UIF Maternity Benefits on the 19 August to this day nothing has happen. M starting work on the 4th of January......every time I make a follow up m told of different dates of payout. The don't care attitude with goverment departments, can't be tolerated anymore.😡

I have bills to paid,dahm hhhhhh!
This is abuse towards women and children, how on earth are we suppose to take care of our families?

Still waiting for a maternity pay but nothing is five months know government workers they don't do they job,is so finey when they take our money every month end they do get the money, but if is time to pay ours they dnt do that I am sick and tired of this thing ,in the few months I been going back to work without being paid is so sad please help

NO PAYMENT

I WENT TO SIGN FOR MY SECOND PAYMENT FROM THE DOL AND NOTHING HAS COME THROUGH..., THE FIRST ONE WAS DONE SO PROFESSIONAL BUT NOW THAT ITS TIME FOR THE SECOND ONE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!!!! FOR ONCE I THOUGHT THAT THIS DEPARTMENT IS NOT AS BAD AS EVERYONE CLAIMS!!!! I GUESS I WAS WRONG!!! discrimination

I applied for a job through the Lady magazine as a carer, to look after a lady of 86 years old. I was employed for one week first and then for two weeks at Christmas time, and to be paid 550.00Pounds per week.. I paid for my tickets fare which costed me 270.00 Euros or 176.00 Pounds. When I arrived to the house there was a man supposed to be in charge and treated me very bad harassed me, insulted, humiliate me, he throw me out of the house in two and a half days. I found out that before me there was a Polish girl and only lasted one and a half days. The owner who is the person that I had contacted throw the advertisement paid me two and a half days the following day after I had left 187.00 Pounds. I found myself in the street as my fare back was not due until 5 days later and the airline wanted too much money to change it. In my opinion the man who was in the house was only looking for a young and beautiful person and English not a foreigner. I thought that he was discriminating and employing people from overseas and trowing them out in one or two days.

Maternity uif benefits

My name is matshidiso Sempe i have applied for my maternity benefits since june 2015 till now i have no got aany paymen. I have been to dpt of labour in Orlando west 18times always told same story my papers are all correct just that head office has not approved it, they dont know why & being told with an attitude . unpaid uif

hhi, im nokuthula ngwenya from soweto, on the 26 november 2015 i went to thusong service center at maponya mall to drop off at the labour, 26 november 2015 i recieved an sms stating that uif request payment recieved. finalization of payment is 7-10 days case no 10003261587. then on 02 december 2015 recieves an sms stating that uif case no 10003032343 has been cancelled due to outstanding documantations. again on the 03 december 2015 recieved an sms stating that uif request payment form outstanding case no 10003261587 time 16:06 my number is 082 838 9308. please help out its my final pay now, why is there a problem becouse was droping off not like i was there to submit some lot of documents, no ma africa lets treat each other as blacks as we all africans please,. Im still waiting for my payment even today its already 11 days today. thank you.
