I am Siyabonga Given Ngubane,my case no.10002398520. I went to Benoni department of labour, now is four months ago to claim my uif and then received sms telling me that I will get feedback in 35 days but until today nothing really happened and I am really shocked by the high volume of complaints about labour...everytime I go and check my uif I become heartbroken by the way of delays and unpaid of uif benefits.............

Maternity

Am a black African who has been failed by the system once again. I gave birth in 17 Jan 2015. Claimed for maternity benefits on the 23 Feb 2015 and has been going once a week to do follow-up and promised countlessly to be patient they working on it. I even got retrenched in the process. Went to Randfontien larbour dept to explain to be turned down, was told that I should wait for my maternity payout to paid first before claiming retrenchment. My contract work end this month and am unemployed and cashless with a 10mth baby.

I have received nothing from the Randfontien Larbour, No explanation on the process and am worried that the 6 mths period has elapsed without any form of explanation or assistance.

Maternity UIF - U-filing, continuation of payment

My baby was born in September 2014. My UIF was submitted immediately. The whole story will take ages to write down...

Numerous battles later and countless times the same documents have been faxed and e-mailed to Dpt of Labour to be "captured". From what my experience taught me, "capturing" must be a highly qualified job, since nobody is doing it! When I phone to follow up, the same old answer - "just phone back in 7 - 10 working days".

Guess what - I am fed-up.
I've had enough.

You've robbed me of 4 months' salary and think it's a joke.

Pathetic! YOU are a joke!

UIF maternity benefits

Good day
I'm Nicole Snyders, I applied for my maternity benefits at Randburg Department of Labour Offices on the 29 May 2015, still never received my money. I mean, I was at home for 4 months unpaid leave, gave birth to twin and with the cost of living increasing everyday left me with a hole in my pocket. I received a message stating my application has been declined, rushed to their offices on the 10 July 2015 for enquiries with my case number: 10002105978 and the told me to ignore the message as my UIF will be paid out in two weeks. I'm still waiting. This is ridiculous, I mean its money I paid each and every month and to receive this services.

I am david nane case no.10002485577 I went to Marlboro labour department three months ago to claim my uif and then received sms telling me that I will get feedback in 35 days but until today nothing really happened and I am really shocked by the high volume of complaints about labour...everytime I go and check my uif I become heartbroken by the way my fellow south Africans are suffering,frustrated and hopeless because of delays and unpaid of uif benefits.. .please department of labour do something about this because it is getting out of hand and people are angry and frustrated because of you....Thanks

Maternity

Hi

I have applied for Maternity(UIF)since March 2015 and the keep giving me a run around,telling me about the gab they need to close before i get MY MONEY!
I always call them and they keep telling stories I don't understand,the other day I went there DAN from Orlando literally ran out off the office when he saw me
Am not sure why,he since promised to call me since April and he hasn't done that till now,My baby is now 6months and Am back at work already.

maternity remuneration

I've received a message from the department of labour on the 27/08/2015 stating that I will receive my UIF claim within 35days its 8months now since I gave birth I've been taken from pillar to post regarding my claim. I was only notified today that my claim has been cancelled due to outstanding documentation where as I have submitted everything that was required from me and I fail to understand why was I only notified about the cancellation after I have laid a complaint.UIF is taking money from my salary every month with no delays of some sort that's why I fail to understand why it has to take so long before you can get what is fully yours. I really need the money as I've got a baby to feed. Please assist and send a list of those documents that "I have not submitted".

I appeal againts a decision im not happy with almost 2months ago, im 1year6months unemployed, need the money cos I was paying uif for 11years and reason for delay wasnt my fault, I apply in the 6months as I suppose 2 , I explain everything on my appeal form , no respond or outcome of case, I deserve every sent

Payment not done /Record says it has

My record shows that my claim was PAID at the beginning of September, yet NO money has been deposited into my bank account. I've sent two emails to the email that is provided on the website but have had NO response.

UIF MARTENITY PAYMENT

I am very unhappy with the way that a mother of a new-born baby has to struggle with a claim for her maternity benefit which she has the right to. But the UIF department does not have trouble collecting the money from my pay every month. Why does it take so long for the claim to pay out? My baby is already past 7 months old and I still have not received a cent. I have followed up with the Mafikeng and Pretoria central branch office and they just keep on telling me that there is no news. I have tried calling the call centre but there is no answer after hours of holding. Could someone please come back to me in connection with my claim. UIF not paid since April

This has been my worst experience ever!!!
I applied for UIF after retrenchment, they first lost my documents, had to wait for someone to come back from annual leave for the whole month then i was informed they would contact me to confirm payment. I have been to the office every week but no one can say what is happening or what the delay is, i just dont know what to do next?!

Very unacceptable, unprofessional behaviour happening in Dept of Labour offices in Boksburg branch.
Management very very POOR!!!! Petunia moloi I have been put through to 8 people, cant assist me with info re my UIF claim payout hold me on the line im strugeling since july 2015 to get info and progres i keep on mailing and foneing petunia and no response from there side last time i spoke to her. Her re action to wards me.was There is lots of other poeple to warry about and our new system is faulty i have spoken to a lot of ppl that have the same problem. I have paid my UIF every month and now that i need to claim it its a problem this is unacceptable my father whent and apply his uif 3 weeks befor me and 1 week thay contact him to come and recieve his money

I am writing to you on the behave of myself and other fellow worker over the years it is trend that when the government give increase it take them 3 to 4months before we get it no retractive either also they want us to bored their cost to pay range fee etc I want you to look into this matter. We also working without health cards and work long hours straight pay no overtime visit work to find out what's going on

I submitted application for Maternity on the 19 April 2014 and until today 22 September 2015 I haven't received my payment . I have been at Vereeniging Labour department every month and they kept on saying my file is at Germiston, they are waiting for respond from head office.

MATERNITY BENIFITS

I AM ALREADY BACK AT WORK AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO MY BABY IN END OF APRIL 2015! I SUBMITTED ALL MY DOCUMENTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR AND YET I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INCOME UP UNTIL NOW! I HAVE TILL END OF OCTOBER THEN 6 MONTHS IS GONE AND I CANT CLAIM ANYMORE.
I HAVE SENT EMAILS, PHONED AND SO ON... NO ASSISTANCE!!

I NEED SOMEONE TO PLEASE ASSIST ME WITH MY CLAIM AS I HAVE A BABY TO TAKE CARE OF!

maternity benefits

Kindly note that I have been awaiting for feedback from one of your consultants who has promised to call me back on Wednesday,
He has confirmed that all my documents were received and that he would consult about my claim on the 15th of September and get back to me the next day and like always one has to wait forever. Please note that I have been going there for the past 6 months since February 2015 and with no success or explanation until I actually started questioning the consultant who was assisting me.

I am really angry with the service I have been getting there and believe that someone is not doing what they are supposed to , I have been promised that they will call, sms but nothing has happened. They have called me in and out of those offices with no valid reason or response about my claim. I have been running up and down since February and to date no response or even track of my application has been confirmed to me. I need that money as it due to me and my son.

I will be lodging a formal complaint anywhere possible until someone stands up and does something about my claim. If this means someone has to lose their job then be it for the good of other people. We cannot be painting everyone at the Department in Benoni when there is only a few people not doing what is expected of them

maternity uif

It has been close to two months since my maternity UIF claim and to this day I have not received a cent. Head office assisted me but now they have gone quiet and I do not know where to turn. Temba regional office is always offline and I am just lost. I am desperate for my funds as I am not able to work due to maternity. All I need is for someone to commit to assisting me and to finalise my application.

Still waiting for Maternity UIF

Good day

I have submitted my docs on 08 July 2015 and received an sms on the same day that i will get feedback within 35days regarding my maternity UIF. I was also told by the agent who captured my documents that if I have not heard anything by the 18 August 2015 I should call their number i.e.: 011 7662000 and I cannot start to explain how frustrating it is to call a number that intentionally gets dropped and left off the hook. I also called the toll free call centre number for the past 4weeks and no one answers. What kind of service is this? I have even returned to work and I am still waiting. I even sent an email to the Inquiries person at the Roodepoort branch and no reply. I have had it with the waiting and it would be nice if someone can please respond and let me know what’s happening????
