Maternity Benefits

I signed the payment for my for my last payment on the 13th of August at Rand font win labour centre and was told I would receive an sms of which I did receive same day. On the sms it said finalisation of payment is 7 - 10 days but I am still waiting. I sent an email to the Randfontein labour centre no response I called I don't know how many no answer. I then decided to call the Krugersdorp office and I am being sent from pillar to post. I am really fed up and frustrated by the service I am getting. It feels like I am asking for a state grant I mean this is my hard earned money. Don't know what to do

Illness

I was in a car accident, i did not get full pay and then my employee sent the rest UIF need to pay out. I did submit all the paper in March and i had to collect the money in April. When i when in April they confirm that my staff was not approved as yet. I when to the UIF office about 10 to 12 time and still today it is not sorted. I am not getting and feedback. I when to the UIF office again last week the 01/09/2015, the guy the help me said that it will be sorted by the 04/09/2015. Today i am still waiting for feedback. I do not have energy to go back to UIF as the staff is not helpful and do not stay by their word. There were already 4 people that assist me and still no joy. Please help to to sorted out my staff

confidentiality

Members of the department of labour are dishing out personal and confidential information to strangers. Last week some lady working from city of tshwane came with a printout from an imployee of the uif department about confidential information about me.
I am entirely not happy with this and i want the responsible people to be delt with.

Maternity UIF No payment since Nov 2014

Company i used send in form January 2015. November my employer send through UI-19, whereby a reference number was received.
After numerous phone calls, visits etc etc, claim has been cancelled due to forms captured in May 2015 ONLY??. Longer than the prescribed 6 months allowed.

I am actaully waiting for 9 months for any payment.

After speaking to a client services agent a month ago, who advised everything is 100% with my claim after an appeal was lodged, I get a call on monday advising i will not receive any money as docs were received late. The lady doesnt listen for reason or that I have dates and names of people confirming differently.

Still waiting - emailed all proof that submission was done in Janaury already. NO FEEDBACK.

UIF Death benefits

Good morning,

I sent a mail to the Roodepoort UIF Office in Johannesburg finding out if my mother can claim dead benefits for my late father they told me yes and she went to the Roodepoort office where they gave her a form but asking for previous pay slips which she do not have he was a pensioner and left the jobs several years a go. The last company he worked for only keep record for 5years and not longer then that.
Please advise how she can go about it, as the people I mailed to do not answer my e-mails and I mailed back to her to find out what if she can get pay slips will she be able to claim all his details is still on the computer and since that time I still not got any feedback from her and try to phone them is just a waist of time they don't pick up the phones.

IOD claims

i work for a nkangala district municipality and one of our employees got injured at work. as an employer representative,i filled out the forms and tried to submit my claim online. the system is not responding and when I go to the nearest labour center in middelburg they say they cant help me. i even went to head office in pta but still could not get help. they are telling me that they have problems with the network. i do not even know what am i supposed to do anymore cause everytime i login to the system its starts working but in the middel it will just stuck. tried also to call the 086 999 ..... but its just keeps on putting me to hold. please help cause the 14 days has expired already while i was going from left to right with no help. lotanang.0713533913

UIF no answer "Call Centrr"

Good day,

I have been trying to call the UIF call centre for 3 weeks, each day staying on the line for an hour with no one ever answering. How can I query my UIF payment that has not been made as promised when I went in to the offices. Since April 2015 until date ( 2 September ) I have not had any joy.

How do you expect people to enquire of no one is answering the phones? It is unacceptable that we MUST pay UIF but when the UIF needs to do their job they don't.

I would appreciate if someone can advise how we can enquire about our payments without having to be on hold for an hour and no answering. I cannot hold on for two hours in the hope that someone will maybe answer.

UIF claims in Mamelodi labour

I want to know how long should I wait for deceased UIF money to be deposited?

I submitted all UIF claiming forms required around July 2015 and they told me to come back today end of august 2015, now they changed the date to October 2015. What must I do now with this?

UIF MATERNITY PAYMENT

Hi my name is Xolisile. I applied for my uif maternity on the 29th of April 2015 till to date have not received payment. I have to say the service is very poor at Randburg labour .department. you can get through when you call them and when you go there in person they tell you stories if they are not offline.
I am so disappointed not sure what to do anymore to receive my payment

death benefit scheme

Please advise
My mother pass away,i have a death claim of april 2011,we went to see her h.r and a rep from jurgens group they give me a statement for august 2015 with the amount almost half of the statement I have,how can the claim value decrease over years instead of increase was my question they said its a mistake, ,the annual salary of this year drop enormously I told them to put the claim on hold because I need to get some advice.
How can I deal with this matter fund value april 2011 R500k+ and value for august 2015 R200k+.

Uif Maternity

Good Day

I gave birth in march since I have claimed for my maternity money I haven't got I have been rounding in circles. Then here is the story.
On the 12 May 2015 I went in to check how far and I was told that the company am claiming in am not registered with it am still registered with the previous company, I asked for advice what must I do to get removed from the old one to be in the new company am working for now, I was told its going under investigation. From 12 May to 12 August I didn't bother to check just to give them time, so on the 12 August 2015 I called labour in germiston one was referring me to another I think that day I spoke to five people and no one bothered to help. the following day 13 August the same thing happened I even got cross at the last person and asked him what was the point of them working there but don't want to give us service, then that's when he told me I should call the investigation line and he gave me the number, the following day I called the number and the guy said I should come with the schedule of salary from the previous company to be removed and I told him I wont have them because the boss there passed on and the company its nolonger operating, he just said just come will see from there. 21 August it was Friday I went there and the lady that was helping me said why didn't the guy just remove you because it shows that the investigation is done and I cant help as the system is not working I should go to the uif side to be helped.

What must a person do to get help at Germiston Labour bathong rounding all circles just to get help. HELP PLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

It is evident that the DoL service is pathetic.This matter can only be resolved by courts or bring it to the attention of public protector's office.

Parliament portfolio committee recently uncovere a litany of findings at the DoL,specifically the administration of Compesation Fund.

Maternity pay delay and poor service

Hi

Someone close to me has been in and out from DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR for a long time claiming for labour department to pay her maternity uif. All I can say is that department is unprofessional the way they do things and they are useless. It is not good to be told lies everytime that a payment will be done in 7-10 days while they know very well that its not gonna happen. My question is who is failing here, is it employees or our black government who does not know how to manage this departments? Really this cant continue to happen like this. Such departments are run under ANC government and and are failing people, i suggest that ANC should do a hand over to another political party who would manage it better.

UIF interest and penalties

Dear UIF, my UIF reference number is 2019241/2. I was unaware that I should register my domestic worker that came in two days a week in 2004. Due to your advertising campaign I registered my domestic worker in 2011 on UFiling and stated that she started working for me in 2004. I had problems with Ufiling and contacted Ms. C Viljoen in July 2015 at UIF and asked her to assist me in sorting out the matter and to tell me how much I had pay to get the account sorted out.

Yesterday she came back with a reconciliation and a first and final reminder that I must pay R6493,96. I was shocked and contacted her. I told her that I never got any notification that I must pay UIF from May 2004 to date. I was aware of my liabilities for the period from 2011 but none before that. I said that I wanted to object and appeal on the basis that I was unaware of this liability and how was I suppose to know if UIF never informed me of this. I informed her that I work for SARS and that we have objections and appeal processes against assessment. She said that they were not SARS. She gave me the contact details of her supervisor Ms. N Sonti and I am awaiting a response.

Please advise of the action I can take to object against the interest and penalties as I have no issue with paying the capital amount due accruing from May 2004.

uif maternity claim

My name is precious Mapumulo. I applied for maternity benefits on the 9 July 2015. My documents were complete after two weeks I received a SMS stating Uif is awaiting outstanding documents I went back and was told Lucky the guy who was processing my documents didn't scan them and was told my documents will be scanned including my child's birth certificate.4 weeks later I receive another SMS stating my claim is cancelled due to outstanding doxuments . which means my documents were never processed from the onset.

Maternity leave Application

I went to department of labour Kempton Park on the 23 June 2015, I was sent back because there was something wrong with my paperwork. On the 29.06.2015 I had c-section as a result I had to wait until I could walk to go back to department of labour. I went back again on the 07.07.2015, I was told to come back on the 07.08.2015 with my baby's birth certificate. On the very same day I received an SMS stating that my application will be processes within 35 days, that was strange but I told myself that I will wait. I went back again on the 07.08.2015, i was told to wait for the SMS telling me ifmy application has been approved and if I don't receive that SMS until 07.09.2015i must go back to department of labour. I find this very ridiculous and frustrating. I am confused how come the branches of the same institution work differently. I am saying this because in 2010 I was in Durban and when I claimed for my maternity leave it wouldn't take more than 7 days to receive my money after I have filled for my application. How do I take care of my kids if I am moneyless? Is if a crime or a sin that I fell pregnant? Department of labour doesn't even miss a single month to deduct my mineybut now they have to pay me back and it is a mission? This is not fair and someone must do something about this. Maternity leave funds

I have applied for maternity leave I only received two months funds the rest I am still waiting on.

I am struggling to get hold of them they do not answer their phones.

I was told that I will get it on the week of the 3rd I must wait for 3days till today I have received the sms. Please assist me.

sms unclear

Hi. I applied for maternity benefits and was told to come back in a month with the doctors form for proof of birth. I did so and then later that day received an sms saying received request for payment. Next day received sms saying payment finalization in 7-10 days. Received another sms staying it has been approved and need to submit request for payment form. Another sms saying payment form outstanding. I called the department of labour and I was told that I must ignore the sms. I am still awaiting payment. This is not fair as I have a month old baby and if I did not need this money I won't be running up and down. Every month for fifteen years I have been contributing so why now when for the first time I claim then I'm given the run around. Please advise me.

maternity pay out

I applied for my maternity pay out November 2013...then returned to work May 2014. Called the offices and I was tod to contact the Germiston branch which I did and was referred back to Benoni. When I called the call center I was told that it was undeclared in august 2014. So I went directly to the Benoni branch and they were offline then they took a copy of my id and phone number. I'm still waiting for the call.

uif non payment

Hi my name is Buli labour dept service is getting poor and poor I applied for uif compensation on the 3 of July I got the approval SMS 3 days after n signed ui6 its been 15 days now m still waiting for the payment.
Others say they signed 3 to 4 times but nothing
So what's the use of contributing to the fund if we have to struggle so much when we supposed to get paid

Last year the payment was only 3 days this year things have changed our accounts they gets deactivated no deposit on them and still that will cause another problem cause the payment will bounce n ull have go back to labour to change bank accounts

Something really needs to be done

I went on maternity the 1st of Jan 2015- took my documentd to the DOL and they requested an extra document from 1 of my previous employer ,the decument was also submited.. UIF PAYOUT

Hi my name is Mumsy I applied for my uif on the 21/01/15 still no payment i've been told I need to submit the u19 form which ive submitted twice already, I've been to the Department of Labour offices in Roodepoort numerous of times only to be told my application has not been approved, I'm not sure why you guys deduct the uif from our salaries cause when you have to get the payout it becomes a nightmare.

Im at a point of just giving up cause I don't have transport fare money to go to Roodepoort every month for nothing this is my last attempt of getting assistance as telephonically shame Labour is useless.
