uif non payment

Kindly plz assist,my case no is 10002385495,i submitted my ui6 on the 15 June 2015,i was assisted by a guy called Johnny in Germiston labour center.i was told I wll get an sms and the payment will follow aftr 10 days.i never got anything so I went back on the 26 june2015 to find out what was causing the delay,I was then assisted by a guy called Clautt,and he also told me the payment will be in after 10 days,days past still there was nothing


I went back again on the 6July 2015,and I was told my documents were scanned to some one who was on leave, I didn't understand what they meant by that I was then told to sign another ui6,and told the payment will be I'm after 10 days,i went back on the 17 July 2015 after I had waited and nothing happened.


Clearly somewhere somehow some one is not doing what they are getting paid to do,companies contribute towards the fund on our behalf not knowing how much suffering we go through before we can get our money,i have read so many complaints in the block and 99% of of the applicants are not happy with the lack of service.


I really hope this is also not just a waste of time and energy,i really hope this will be read and resolved,fellow Southwest Africans we mother 's and father's with families to take care of and kids to send to school,

UIF Maternity

Good Day

I registered for UIF on 9 June 2015 to date my documents/registration has not yet even been captured. I went to the UIF offices during last week and i was told that i would get an sms and should i not receive an sms by today Wednesday 22 June 2015 i must come in again.

When i went there today they told me that it still has not been captured yet. I must wait for an sms and should receive it before the end of the week.

Please assist.

UIF Maternity Benefit

My wife applied for Maternity benefits via U-filing toward the end of January 2015. It is now the 21st of July and still no payment! Claim was refused end March. Notice of Appeal lodged and approved 13 May. Can someone please let us know what is going on. Had to take a loan at my bank to fill the income gap that UIF is supposed to fill. Now paying back the loan and interest. Very Unfair!!!!!!!!!!!

For seveeral days now been calling the "Call Centre" with no success (these are only the call attempts made in July!):
8 July - Called at 14:30 on hold for 18 minutes, no answer
14 July - Call Centre not operational from 2pm
16 July - Called at 15:36 was on hold for 24 minutes, no answer
21 July - Called at 14:13 on hold for 37 minutes, no answer

VERY VERY VERY FRUSTARTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STILL NO PAYMENT

I am unemployed from the end of April 2015. Went to the UIF offices in Nanna street on the 22nd May 2015. Their they gave me a list of all the documents they need me to bring in.. One of the ducuments was the UIF 19 form from my ex employer. My ex employer send the info through to the UIF on the 26 May 2015. I went back to the UIF offices on the 29 May 2015 with a printed copy of the e-mail and the UIF 19 form plus with may banking details. Then they tell me I must go and open a bank account on my name. I went and open a bank account in my name and went back to them with the NEW banking details and with all the other forms. Still they were not happy and send me to go and get a letter from the bank that the account is in my name went back on the 9 Jule 2015 with every thing again. When I left the offices in Nanna street I have been robbed and assalted out side your offices On the 9 July 2015 I received a SMS that my UIF claim is been received and will be finalizes in 35 days . They also give me a UI 6A to bring with on the 21 July 2015 to room 112. I received another SMS on the 26 June 2015 that my UIF claim is rejected. I must phone the following number 0800843843. I phone and phone nobody answer at last I could get through and they say they never received the UIF 19 form. I resend it on the 3-6 July 2015. to the web master e-mail. Today when I get their the 21 July 2015 by room 112 I here the news that I am not register on the system and they did not received any off my documents.. The lady in room 112 tell me to go to room 113 sit in the que again for an hour before somebody could assist me. Then they send an e-mail again to ES department because all my documents is on the system but they don't process it. So now I must wait another 10-15 days before I can go back and check if they process my documents . So then it will be the 5th of August 2015. I cant believe we must wait so long to claim UIF from May to August 2015 Then it is 4 months with no payments. How must we live if the UIF offices is not paying us in time. Plus another 35 days to wait for the money to been payed out. All I like to know is why dont they captured the documents if it was send by e-mail and hand in by my self. If you need any proof of the emails let me know.

It is now the end of July 2015 and still waiting and I am unemployed please help. my number is 0786186008

STILL NO PAYMENT

Pathetic. Been struggling since May 2015 to get any UIF payments. Due to incompetence in the UIF offices, they keep on asking me to upload new documents, it goes through to the Paymaster, Paymaster cancels and nothing gets done and I don't get notified or any valid reasons why it has happened.

AGAIN I was informed to file NEW Continuation of Payment online, but I have not received ANY PAYMENT to date.

Really, it is clear from all the complaints and my personal experience it is due to lack of work ethic and incompetency that nothing gets done.

UIF Payout

Good day,

I have submitted my UIF documents on the 1 July 2015 and received an sms advising me that my documents have been received and payment will be received within 7 to 10 days. It is now the 17 April 2015. I have been calling the UIF call centre since Monday and there is no answer.

Please advise. How long is the turn around time for one of the call centre consultants to answer the telephone. I have been holding on for 29 mins 18 secs .Please can this issue be addressed as this is costly to call the call centre just to ask for feedback on your claim.

I have even called the office where I submitted the claim and if the telephone is not being picked I , I get told to call the call centre. Incompetence at its best.

Uif claim

Hi my name is Christopher Maseko,In April 2015 I submitted all required documents for uif claim,I was told to wait for 30days then I will get money. I then waited and after 30 days nothing happened, this was now May. When I went back to find out,i was told my documents were not captured I must come back in June. I went back in June I was asked what is a problem for me not getting my money.

I told them the last time I was here
I was told my documents were not captured,i was then told it was a mistake my documents were captured long time ago.I was then puzzled,they then said I must wait for 10 working days I will receive an sms indicating that my claim has been approved. I waited again for ten days,but nothing happened no sms.

I went back to find out,I was told they have done everything on their side,My claim was submitted to Provisional office it's now them who should send an sms indicating that my claim has been approved. It is now July still waiting and I am unemployed please help. my number is 0727930445

uif maternity payment

Hi

I applied for my maternity uif on 04 May 2015. I gave birth on 06 May 2015. Till today I haven't
received any payment and my baby is 2 months old. I called in June and the response I got was that they were still busy with April applications so they couldn't check if my application was approved because I applied in may. I then called them this morning and was told my application has not been approved as yet. My daughter is 2 months old. I haven't received any income since I went on maternity leave on 30 April 2015. I am struggling to pay rent and buy stuff for my baby.
Why deduct uif from my salary every month if when I need it the most I won't be getting it? It's easy to take money from someone but hard to pay them back. I am really not happy with the situation I'm being put in. That only means that after giving birth one should just go straight back to work in order to have income.

I find it to be unfair and very inconsiderate for the labour department to be making a woman whose just had a child to do all this horrible things all because they are too lazy to do their own jobs properly... some of us who submit these claims trough the labour department we don't do it for fun, we do it because we need that money and its a really big struggle financially especially having to travel to the labour department and back to our homes countless times because when you even call you find that the details they gave you are either not working or nobody bothers to answer ... all I ask for is for the workers at the labour department to be very considerate towards people like me who make these uif claims when it is time to deduct those contributions from our salaries it is no problem,,, but when it is time to pay a bring problem as to rise.... please change....

uif delayed

What is really going on with this department of labour?3 months waiting for hit payout.at first I was sent an SMS saying hit finalization period is 35 days.another SMS popped in saying my hit has been approved,finalization of payment is 7 to 10 days.on my seventh day waiting, I get another SMS saying uif awaiting payment form.what the hell does that mean?.am really fed up with this department of labour.

Its sad how our government operates. When its time to collect money from us all systems work well (look @ SARS). Yet when its time to payback (what rightfully belongs to the the citizens) there's a whole lot of delays. Our people are being taken for a ride (when will this tyrant called the ANC be removed).

Maternity uif

Hi,

I submitted my maternity uif application on the 8th of April at the Randburg office. My baby was born on the 9th of April. To date I have not received any payments from uif. Whenever I follow up, I am given the run around. After trying numerous time to get through to the call canter and the Randburg office, I emailed the Randburg office, only to be told to follow up with the supervisor in 2 weeks. I went to the Randburg office, and then I was told that I would receive the payment in 3 weeks (1 July 2015). I have not received my payment as yet. I called the call center yesterday, and was told that my application would be escalated, and I would receive an Sms regarding the status within 5-7 working days.

I am now fed up, and frustrated with being told to follow up in xx days, only to find out that nothing has changed.my baby is now 3 months, and I have not received a single payment.

Get you act together!!!!!

NO UIF MONEY!!!

Hi wil net graag weet hoekom moet mens UIF betaal maar wanneer jy moet claim wag jy maand tot jare. Wat is die problem! Waar gaan die geld heen dat niemand hulle geld kry nie. Al wat mens hoor is "daar is geen fout op die system nie ek sal navraag doen kom terug na 2 weke" "kom terug na 'n maand" wag nog 2 weke!!!! Die system is af die system is af!!! Kom oor 2 weke terug! Ons is nie in die stone age nie, 'n telefoon oproep of e-pos neem nie weke, maand of jare nie!!! As daar geen problem is nie hoekom word die geld nie uit betaal nie!!! Ek weet van mense wat al meer as 2 jaar wag! Intussen raak mens se skuld agter! Jy het kinders om voor kos te gee en geen geld vir maande aan een!!!! Ek sien ons is nie die enigstes nie, so daar is probleme, geen geld om mense te betaal nie!!! Hoekom moet ons dan UIF betaal waar gaan die geld heen??? Ek dink dis tyd dat daar ook ondersoek by die UIF gedoen word.

Ons vra asseblief dat hierdie UIF sake dringend aandag kry en as daar mense in poste sit wat nie weet hoe die werk gedoen moet word nie kry dan mense wat wel weet en dit vinnig kan doen Ek glo nie julle sal daarvan hou om vir maande aan een dieselfde stories te hoor en so moet wag om betaal te word nie. Dalk moet die maatskappye ophou UIF betaal en eerder dit self vir hulle werkers lê.

SUSPECT U-FILING TO BE FRAUD SCHEME

I've been struggling to have my unemployment benefit paid out to me for OVER A YEAR NOW!!!!! I was unemployed for the entire 2014. My claim was submitted via U-filing during June 2014...in September I received around R1800, apparently they deducted money which was overpaid to me in 2009....that is still acceptable, but in October I was told they have paid me everything and then it was discovered that APPARENTLY they were missing 2 U19's for previous companies I worked for, I submitted these in November 2014.....nothing was being updated..I phoned and emailed and phoned and emailed and resubmitted these documents until it came out of my ears.....EVENTUALLY after my local UIF office said they could not help me with an online application, I phoned AGAIN and my documents were finally fed into the system APRIL 2015...6 MONTHS after I xsubmitted them!!! So I phoned and phone again to enquire when the rest of my benefits would be paid out to me...eventually the supervisor of the call-centre, ISHMAEL MTHOMBENI said that my claim was COMPLICATED and that he would ESCALATE IT to a socalled Mr van Niekerk and he assured me that he would get back to me....3 weeks...have heard nothing..I've been phoning the call-centre 2/3 times every single day...I am basically on a first-name basis with each and every idiot that works in that call centre...EACH TIME I have to explain the same story and end up leaving a message for the GREAT AND HONEST EVER ILLUSIVE ISHMAEL THE SUPERVISOR who NEVER returns my calls. Yesterday I spoke to an agent and when he started asking me the same questions over and over and after I explained to him that ISHMAEL is well aware of my casem he then put me ON HOLD FOR OVER 20 MINUTES (DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG 20 MINUTES IS TO BE HOLDING ON TO THE OTHER END OF A PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), he came back and would not even give me a chance to talk - kept interrupting and speaking over me and when I started to get upset...I only raised my voice ever so slightly since he was being SO EXTREMELY RUDE...he calmly put the phone down in my ear..this happened twice yesterday alone.WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE???????? I was very suspicious when I saw the online UIF system being launched...I thought, why would our pathetic government make and effort to make it easier for people who are not working to claim there unemployment benefit? And when I saw the website..how terrible it looks..this confirmed my suspicions....but I submitted my claim and initially I thought it looked like it went well...but now, after a year, I am more suspicious than ever...in my opinion this ufiling system appears to be something that was put in place so some or other government official and his gang has an easy way to leak tax payer's money into their own pockets....because let's face it...all the excuses I've heard from the monkeys in the call centre...missing U19's, a wrong digit on a form, a wrong date, each an every issue like this taking weeks to recfify...it is pretty obvious what is going on here...THERE IS NO MONEY TO PAY US OUR BENENFITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ONLY QUESTION IS REALLY: WHO IN GOVERNMENT IS STEALING IT THIS TIME???????????????????? TIME??????????????????????????????????????????

uif not being paid

Good day

Iam maybe not worth it according to the law to be helped, yes and definitely it feels that way.

I worked as hard as I could, at the end my contract was terminated.
I have a wife and little daughter of 2 I should provide for.

I applied for my UIF 12 April, 3times already walked 35km and now and then taking a taxi to get to Springs UIF offices.

Every time returned home “all paperwork is now correct Sir and payment will be done during the month”. (8 June Fax to Patricua Semake Last paper again was submitted)

Today 25 June, having no income no Job opportunity so far following up to just again be turned down, because my paperwork is not in order,,,,again , again and again.
I don’t know what I can do, I don’t know who I can turn to for help.

If anyone is out there, I don’t ask for donation only to be paid out was is rightfully mine, or so I believed.
I cannot walk to Springs from Delmas again to hear everything is ok, just to find out again like I always do….It is not right!!!!!

Maternity uif

I have file my Maternity claim on 06 May 2015 but I have not receive any money yet. I have try to call send e-mails but no answer. The switch board lady in Boksburg suggested that I must come to the branch may be they will assist. On the 29.06.15 I went to the branch in Boksburg only to found out that my application is not processes yet. The consulted took all my application paper work and scan it again. She told me I must come and check after 10 days. My question is why are they taking our application and not processes it. I have waited for 2 month for nothing. Someone did not do his job so I have to suffer. I think government must stop this thing of UIF if they cannot pay us back our money in time.

maternity application

I submitted my maternity application on 8 April 2015 and they told me I must come back and check on 08 May 2015 I went back to check they told me that my application was still on process I must come back after 2 weeks I went back again then they said my application doesn't have UI19 which I did submit the lady told me that she will scan it and submit it the following day because she couldn't do it on a same day as the scan machine didn't have ink then I tried to phone the following week and found out if she did scan it but they are not answering the phone. PLEASE MINISTER OF LABOUR FIX THIS PROBLEM AS IT HAPPENS TO ALL DPT LABOUR BECAUSE IS OUR MONEY THAT WE CONTRIBUTE EVERYMONTH !!

uif and poor service

I hope I find everyone in good moods. Well, I am not and I have a sense that you don't even care.

On the 29th of April 2015 in Germiston department of Labour, I submitted the uif form and I was told not to submit a form anymore and the message was narrated to me by this tall Pedi guy who seemed like a queue control of the day Wearing a reflector written manager at the back and i was told that refunding system had changed, that the automated SMS would be send every month, but I was not told when exactly would SMS come through with in every month although I did asked and was ignored for answers. I have waited for this miracle sms from 29 April 2015 to this day of my complaint and I have never seen that sms nor the payment. I also went again on the 15 of June 2015 on Monday. The coloured manager called us all from the queue and he told me I was going to get an sms the same day, but it did not happen. I just don't know if that was a negative promising strategy to me just to clear to queue. I still believe in truth than excuses. If I was told that people are not doing their job I was gonna understand and I was gonna take the right steps to help them improve their service.

I have read so many painful messages from complainants. Parents passing away but yet no help. But I promise you if it was within your office it would so many condolences. People sleep hungry and this is both the youth also the older people I'm writing about. Don't you think somewhere and somehow you people are indirectly contributing to a daily crime and children having out of control going to Nyaope and other drugs due to hunger and emotional strains of unfulfilled needs. Well you need not to answer me on that. I'm concerned about my uif money.

I don't know if this messages we are taking through get read and solved or wasted. But if they do then I'm requesting you to tell me when exactly are you paying my uif because I deserve it.

If I may put a clarity into operators minds here. Guys please remember that I have searched for the job on my own and I got employed and got retrenchment on my behalf and not yours. I am going to look for a job yet again on my behalf without your conscious or awareness concern or support and the companies will through me in a bin again to experience a torture that you people are giving us.

What have we done to you people to be not served with respect because we pay uif even though it is senseless and unfortunately out of our hands.

Now I have to spend the airtime that I should be wasting on job hunting because I have no choice but a chance to remind you to perform your work with loyalty. Even though I know loyalty makes no sense at all on your behalf.

Lastly but not least
You do not know what you are calling from the public towards your poor service.

I hope you pull your socks and also the staff must fix their rotten attitudes.

Clearly a satisfied being wouldn't post.

maternity leave

Good morning....



I am fed up with the labour department....i was told on the 9th of june that my UIF money will be in within 7 days
and today is the 19th of june im still waiting...
i cald them to follow up and i get told to be patient because they are short stuffed

can someone please do something about the germiston branch because the stuff spends all their time walking around instead of working...
i submitted my forms in april and still i hvnt received my money...
The money get deducted without hustle from my salary but its a mission for my stuff to be processed...

maternity benefits

I phoned the labour department today 19 June as requested by lady who assisted me on the 12 june 2015. According to the system my break in service documentation is still outstanding. I am really at my wits end. Please, please assist.

I went to the Bellville labour offices on the following dates.

27 March 2015 - to hand in application, was turned away because baby was not born yet. (Born 30 March 2015

13 April 2015 - hand in application

25 May 2015 - next date I had to return. I was told that my previous employer did not complete the UI-19 form correctly, and that I need to submit the correct form, which indicate my break in service for my maternity leave in 2009.

27 May 2015 - I return and submit the requested form. Was told to return within 10 working days.

12 June 2015 - I return and is told that the document is still outstanding, and I give the a second copy of the UI-19 form. And that I should call back within a week.

I want to lodge a formal complaint regarding the poor service received by the Bellville Labour department. Not only do you have to stand and wait in long queues with a baby in hand. You are treated like a third class citizen, only because you got pregnant and had a baby, and need to claim maternity benefits, in order to get by. Please advise how long does it take for a claim to be authorized. Is it standard practice for the labour department to waste precious time, and mess with peoples livelihood. At which point does this practice become ridiculous, unprofessional, and unproductive.

Could you please advise when my claim will be approved and paid. I have obligations to meet, and giving debt collectors the excuse that you are waiting for your UIF benefits, are getting old, and people don't understand after 3 months.

Your prompt response will be much appreciated.
