Hi i am a ex worker of a company called MIE company that is based in centurion at Jean ave.i have worked there for more than five years and was earning 5000. but white people who came after me were earning more than me on top i had to teach them work even december whites would get 13cheque us blacks would not get any.over those years that i have worked there i was never registerd as a permanent worker but white people who came after me were registerd permanent and payed more than me and we did not have a union to present us workers if u have a complain u can not complain,we worked over time and never got paid for it. we would start working 7oclock in the morning and nock of 6:30 afternoon and never got paid for it. i am saying this becouse the are coulegues of mine that ar still there who are afraid to talk about this and it's hurting me to see that the is still racicsm at our work places and they dont appreciate the extra effort even if u ask a half day they wouldd deductc from ur salary but when u work over time u dont get paid. please guys can some one take action for the sake of our brothers and sisters and what is worse it's registerd as BEE but black people are treated as pigs i so hate that place our team leader was so rude in a way that sometimes u would wish u can just pack and go.plesase can any one act plesae. what hurts me more is that the company it's making money but they dont want to pay their workers people who have worked there for almost ten years are stil temps. we used to do credit checks for big companys absa,standard,unisa,wits,public works u name the companys they get all those tenders from gorvement departments just becouse they are registerd as BEE i dont even think the is a black partner please can u guys invistigate this company.

The people that work at the Department of Labour is Bellville are rude, unhelpful and shouldnt be dealing with people. I was sent home 3 times because they couldn't do their jobs right.

I do not know why money is being deducted for uif from MY SALARY when I can't claim for it.

Nature of complaint I am unhappy withe thee service I received
Complaint description i SUBMITTED my documents for UIF Maternity at Department of Labour Germiston on thee 7the of December 2011. I got no feedback till i returned to work in April 2012.
I then send an email to Labour Head Office in Pretoria and they said they could not help me because i seem to have a South African ID so they can not pay under a passport. They told me to go and sort the issue with Home Affairs of which i went to Germiston and they refused to help me saying i shoud go back to Labour and the guys at Labour should give me the ID Number since they said i had one. I have since sent them an e-mail and no one responded back. Iam not happy because why is it that they didn't pick that up when i was contributing and now that i would like to claim they make my life difficult? I have been registered for UIF and everything else using my passport. If they check their records theey will find out theat it has been a passport all along and i have worked for the current company for 3 years and i use my passport. So why is it now they don't want to pay me? why don't they want to give me my money? Its so unfair!!!!! Why are they talking about an ID when i use only my passport? Why are they doing that? The people i have been corresponding with from Labour are Mr Thomas and Killian Hansen.
