I want explanation

I applied for UIF benefits in May 2014. I only received my UIF 16 September 2014 for the amount of 16K of which they told me it was a once off payment. what i fail to understand is i was suppose to have been paid monies from 2009 till present.i then contacted the department of labour and they told me of which they told me i qualify for a once off payment.according to my understanding im suppose to get monies for 8 months. If my memory serves me right im suppose to receive money till december. My id 8109080888085.Your response will be highly appreciated.

Poor service/No service

I am not receiving service from the UIF department. I have been submitting and re - submitting my documents since the 2nd of July, and it is still not captured. I have been on maternity leave since the first of August, and I need to care for my baby. Does the UIF department not care about women and children, or do they just not care for their work? This is very frustrating and needs to be sorted as soon as possible.

applied maternity on the 2 july 2014

Applied for maternity on the 2 of july I was told to call back after 6 weeks I did call but the phones are not answered but when they answer I was told by this rude lady who was busy talking with some one while on a call with me. She told me my application has not been captured. I called again 2 weeks later I was told that they can't find my u19 I went back to give them again the u19 and was told to call after 3 weeks still my papers are not captured and this is really frustreting I have a baby that I can't even provide for.pls help anyone I'm really struggle. It now 15 september but no money

UIF Claim pending

I claimed my UIF in July 2014 and I was asked to return on the 14 August and I did but they told me they are still investigating, I should come back on the 11 September, I have been calling Call Centre and Gauteng Regional office, they told me they don't deal with claims!!! with a very bad attitude, the Alberton office never answeres phones... This is very frustrating to suffer so much for your own hard earned money!!! If anyone knows who actually attends to such complaints, please let me know. [email protected]

UIF APPLICATION STILL PENDING (7 MONTHS)

I have been in and out of Dept of labour offices in welkom recently. I started my UIF application in the month of march I went to the offices prior my retrentchment because it wasn't my first application, as for the first application the department failed to assist me with the process. However I submitted all that was needed, and I made sure this time I give the official everything that she needed, the official wasn't helpful, because now and again she would tell me I haven't submitted the things that were needed, I would email her the documents knowing well I took time, and money to go to there offices, this up and down thing happened for a couple of months and when I called her on her personal number she would not reply, last month I went to see her supervisor, but upon to my arrival he was just as rude he showed me a book that proved that my applications where only submitted and approved by the supervisor in june, hence I started the process before time because I saw that with my previous application I struggled. I am very angry because the supervisors assured that he would contact me and that he hasn't done, I called him numerous of times left messages and he hasn't returned my messages, I went to their satellite offices on tuesday this week but still no one has gotten back to me

I feel like the labour people in welkom are incompetent, as this has been a six month application and no one has been able to assist me. I am writing this email as I am seeking for help, I don't understand all these amendments and all these stories, I need results

Maternity UIF not yet paid (5Months now)

Good day,

I submitted ALL documents required on the 9th May 2014 to date i still haven't received my maternity claim

I phone the Soweto Labor branch everyday, they either don't answer their phones and if they do they transfer me amongst each other until it cuts off
I want to now what is taking them so long

Registration with Occupational Health and Safety

I submitted ALL the relevant documents required by the DOL plus a fee of R120:00 to be registered as a Single Phase Tester. This I did at the beginning of June. It is now September and still no response. I have called numerous times and sent e-mails. The calls never get answered by the call centre and when I eventually got through to the gentleman in question, I was then given a sob story about backlogs and not enough people helping...blah blah blah. I am a tax payer and we pay government salaries, surely the service should be better?????
There just seems to be a no care attitude.
Please help as this registration is holding up job offers and potential income for me and those with whom I work!!!!!!!!

UIF MATERNITY BENEFIT

My Wife applied for UIF MATERNITY BENEFIT on the 15th April 2014, to date she has not received any payments, that is 4 months (almost 5).

We have phoned the Benoni Branch weekly constantly about 2-3 times a week, when we do actually get through we are told that everything has been captured but the application has not been approved for payment as yet.

I have sent countless mails to the Management of Benoni and provincial management, there mailboxes must be full as nobody actually replies

This is utter nonsense, we pay taxes and UIF every month from our salaries to keep these people employed yet they are rude and obnoxious with every person that walks through the door.

The UIF goes off our salaries every month with out delay, so why is there is 4 (almost %) month delay to actually get money back that belongs to you

can someone actually get back to me or do I need to go to the media in order to get assistance,

UIF taking forever

I have submitted the same document to the department of labour three times, the call centre agents are full of attitude and are not helpful at all. When I ask for a manager nobody get back to me. I have been trying to claims for four months!!! first at the labour office in Vereeniging where I kept being sent back for documents instead of them twlling me everything at once. Now I am experiencing the same thing with Ufiling!!

UIF MATERNITY BENEFIT

[email protected] Is an employee roodepoort department of labour, over seven weeks ago my Fiancee applied for her UIF with this guy, he confirmed that all was in order and would receive the money withing 3 to 6 weeks.

a week ago when we inquired he informed us that there was documents missing, firstly why did we have to contact you??? YOU CONFIRMED THAT ALL WAS IN ORDER!!!! We then gave you all the information for the second time. its now a week later and you still have not responded with any positive feedback.

we the escalated to your so called superior who (Moeketsi) who seems to be more incompetent that you are.

judging by all the complaints posted on this forum, The department of labour has serious customer service issues or you sit in important positions but have no idea on how to assist the public.

UNPAID SICK LEAVE DEDUCTIONS

My HR department decided to deduct sick leave from my salary without my consent or notifying me. In the meantime there is a case ongoing regarding the reasons for me being off sick for a long time, as well as who is taking responsible.

Please advise urgently as im less R2500.00 each month.

Maternity UIF

I submitted my documents for Maternity UIF on the 4th June 2014, called then in 6 weeks time only to be told it's not approved yet. I called again in 2 weeks time and got the same response as the time I called in 6 weeks time. It's been two full months that I have applied an still don't get a straight answer as to what exactly in the delay. I need that money, I have debts to pay. My employer doesn't pay me my full salary whole I'm on maternity leave.

Materrnity UIF still unpaid

I submitted my forms in June, I called after 6 weeks and I was told there's a UI19 form missing, I got it waited a week and I was told my applications was approved and my money will be transferred in 3 days which it was but to an account I stopped using 8-9 years ago, now what I want to know is how does that happen when I submitted the correct banking details...

Maternity UIF

Absolutely disgusted with how maternity UIF is being handled, someone needs to tell us what the hell is going on!! i submitted my documentation at the beginning of may but as of yet have received absolutely nothing and getting any form of HONEST feedback is like finding chickens teeth it is impossible!!

Could somebody please tell us what exactly is going on how are we supposed to live? This is disgusting!

Registered but not Regestered

Two companies I worked for had to register on Ufiling.
Both confirmed that they are registered and that my details were loaded.
Went to room 112 just to hear that I am not registered and that I need to go to Room 113
(2 hours later)
At room 113, you are not registered. What!!!!! I know that. How do we fix it?
Your companies must register on Ufiling and then register me. What!!! But that was done!!!!
UIF: Can the companies send me the UI19 via email.
Me: Sure, I will quickly contact them and request the email (SMS was sent to both companies with email address)
UIF: I received company A's email but not B's (O yes, by the way I was CC in all emails and received all emails)
Me: Phoned company B and requested a resend on the email and confirmed the email with UIF employee
UIF: No email coming trough.
Me: Forwarded the email I received on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (now there is two different email accounts in play)
UIF: Not receiving the email
Me: Now what (she pulled up her shoulder and went on lunch)

Nothing is resolved
Registered via Ufiling but... not registered.
Emails are not coming trough with UI19
Hard-copy of UI19 is not excepted anymore

What now, I can not afforded not getting the money due to Dept. Labour systems not working.
I can not go and sit for 2hours just to get a shoulder.

Maternity UIF

I have signed for my UIF on the 23rd of June and was told to wait 2 weeks before it will be paid in, to date i still haven't received anything. I have phoned Durban office on 031 366 2000 and it just rings when i phone, and when they do answer they put me through to someone else and the phone once again just rings with no answer at all. I have even tried the another branch on 012 309 4000 but there is just no answer at all. I have things to pay, Something needs to be done about this problem. Please can someone just help us out here...

maternity uif unpaid

I applied my maternity uif on the beginning of May 2014 till now it seems like the is no progress and everytime when I try to call soshanguve department of labour they take their time to answer the phone but eventually they will pick it up and when I ask them that how is the process of my documents,, they reply by saying my documents are not being captured yet.so I don't know what to do now because I'm approaching three months now and I haven't received anything. I think serious actions must be taken towards soshanguve department of labour coz they are extremely lazy.people are wasting money of going there and only to find out they will return home without being helped........which leads to poor service . Your respond will be highly appreciated

Unpaid UIF maternity benefit

I applied for the benefit in September 2011 in Secunda. I received money equivalent to 21 days (out of 120 days). In the past 2 and half years I have been following up on the remainder and I have been sent from pillar to post up until my file was closed. I was told to contact someone in Witbank to fix it so that payment can be made. I looked for that person for 2 full months and she took about two weeks to open it. I went to Secunda to initiate the process again and again I was told the system does not allow payment although they can see the amount due to me. Again my file is closed and I am trying to get someone in witbank to help but they keep referring me to Secunda branch where I am refereed to Witbank. I dont know what to do at this stage as I am paying for this UIF but it seems it's not really worth it as my child is turning 3 yrs in Oct and I'm still trying getting money for my maternity leave!!!!
