Diversity

I love watching your movies it takes me away from all the horrible things that are happening in our country today but I would love to see more diversity ln your movies it’s a little heartbreaking not to see African Americans in your leading roles with families and love Affairs. Please consider making more movies with african-Americans. Thank you

Be more supportive of women

I would like to see a movie about someone in the current online dating pool who is approached by a scammer. While I enjoyed fairy tales as a young girl and woman, I think it's time for Hallmark to stop selling the fantasy and start supporting strength in women.
There are people out there getting hurt over an over again because they believe in the fantasy. I have stopped watching your channel as have many of my friends because of this. I'm sure you will find many women that will watch, but you are in turn enabling the people that are out there taking advantage of them.

Move into reality just a little bit Hallmark.

Lack of Diversity

I enjoy watching movies on the Hallmark Channel, but it is becoming very disturbing not to see African Americans/Blacks in movies with leading roles. All of the Christmas movies that have been shown thus far has been a mostly Caucasian cast, with Caucasians being in leading roles. Please show more diversity in your movies and other shows.

Too many repeats,more older ones

I so love watching Christmas Movies on Hallmark and thank you for that but need to say there’re to many repeats. It would be nice to watch some of the older ones that I so love and miss like The Christmas Card or Mrs MIracle etc...... Thank you🎄⛄️

Too many Christmas Movies for too long

I love the Hallmark Channel BUT I think you are saturating the channel with too many Christmas movies. I watch throughout the year and appreciate Diagnosis Murder, Columbo, Murder She Wrote and others. But early November or even October, the channels are non-stop Christmas. It does not really matter if I am Christian or not, it prevents me from watching and enjoying your station for almost 2-3 months.

I miss the vintage television series or just the variety that you offered. Even at 6am when I am up and wanting to watch something other than Christmas themed programming, I am forced to look elsewhere.

I am not sure where these comment will land...but hoping someone will hear and perhaps adjust the programming for next year. I would bet that if you chose to evaluate the viewer participation, you would see that it decreases during this holiday time.

Thanks you for your time....hope someone is listening to my comments and others that have been sent

Race/Color

Hallmark Channel I agree with the reputition of the ‘diverse’ comments. I love watching your Christmas shows it feels me with warmth and hope and when there is so much hate out there your shows are well needed. However I hope and pray that you are not contributing to that hate by purposely not casting diverse main roles. And if you truly believe in the magic of Christmas as all your shows seem to do then you should want that for all people of color and not just whites. Think about it do you really want to loose all the views of the diverse crowd. So please take this in consideration for next years shows. Thank you

christmas programming

I do not watch Hallmark from late October through January.

I love the old mystery shows on during other months.

Could you have one of the two channels show the non-stop christmas shows and the other show the mysteries? Or put the mysteries on through the night?

Thanks

non-stop christmas movies

I love watching the old mystery series on Hallmark.

They completely stop for over two months to show christmas gooies that are constantly recycled.

Could you do that on only one of the two channels and continue the mysteries on the other?

Or put on the mysteries late night?

As it is, I don't turn on Hallmark at all from the end of October through January.

Thanks

Movie scheduling

I love the round the clock Christmas movies, but you need to mix up the schedule a bit. For example, I have seen one of my favorites, Christmas Under Wraps, 4 times this year, but one of my other favorites, Matchmaker Santa, is only being shown at 2:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., etc. You have two and a half months to show all the movies, which is great, so you should be able to juggle the schedule so that we get to enjoy the better older movies along with your new offerings, which are repeated too many times. We need Mrs. Miracle, Naughty or Nice, Snow Bride, Let It Snow and other good ones from prior years to be on in the evening, not just early in the morning or during the day. I am a 57 year old man and I have to work all week, so cut me a break and show different movies every night.

Too many Non-Stop Christmas movies

Don't get me wrong, love the Christmas movies, but do they need to be non-stop? I pay extra to my cable provider so that I can get your Mystery movies, but now I must wait till 2018? How about a little variety, even at 2 a.m. PLEASE

Thank You

IINCLUSION

My family love watching all the Christmas Movies you show.
They are awesome!

However this could be even better if you would include more movies that represent your ENTIRE viewing audience. I would love to see more movies with a more diverse group of
actors. You have viewers from all cultures watching your Christmas shows and regular shows and I would think that you would want
to represent that in your programming.

I would just love to see more african -american/black and hispanic asian. you know
actors and actresses, basically from all cultures in your movies.

you know they do celebrate Christmas as well, lol.

If would be great to see more diversity in the movies you play!
It would be great to see that not just one culture can have a warm fuzzy and happy christmas story or regular movie on Hallmark!!!!

Please consider this in planning for future Christmas and Regular movies and try to let all your views see a little represent of all of us
not just in a supporting role but as main characters.

The color on the channel flashes

We subscribe to the Hallmark Channel and the color is inconsistent and flashing. It is the only channel that does this so pretty sure it is a broadcasting problem.

Christmas movie saturation

You need to variety to the movies. Christmas 24/7 from November on is too much !!! Makes my teeth hurt ! I like Christmas movies, especially the older ones, black and white ones,,, don't care for 24/7 saturation.

Bring back the mysteries !!! I won't see you again until the mysteries are back.

Too many boring christmas movies

Until recently, I watched mystery shows on Hallmark everyday. I was really looking forward to watching on a day off before Halloween this year, but the only shows available were boring Christmas movies. I haven't watched the channel since. I'm so disappointed in the programming changes. I can't imagine who would want to watch Christmas movies for 2 months before Christmas. How Horrible. Get some variety in your programming please, and maybe you'll win back some lost viewers.

too many Christmas show for too long a time on the Hallmark channels time

I chime in with those who say enough is enough of the Hallmark Christmas movies starting in October and ending in January. All day and all night with many repeats. I've tuned Hallmark out for the next 2 plus months. I miss the regular programs. And what about all the other holidays in this winter season? And what about all the viewers who aren't Caucasian or close enough to "pass"? Where are these other holidays and where are the characters of color in these stories? And if Hallmark is so obsessed with Christmas, why not emphasize something other than the feel good focus? Like what does the celebration really celebrate? The word "Christ is in there; look at it. I'm told the "mas" in there is short for "mass" which is a religious celebration. Christmas means Christ's Mass, the celebration of the birth of Christ.
I like all the red and green, the decorated trees, the Christmas music both secular and religious. I like all the preparations, the keeping in touch with friends, the baking and cooking. So the long schedule of Christmas shows will give me more time for that. But for me, as for most people I would think, this preparation doesn't start in high gear before Halloween and Thanksgiving and doesn't consume all of one's time when it does start. So until January, so long, Hallmark!

THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT

I looked and looked for a site that I could leave a “nice” comment about Hallmark Movies and Mysteries (my personal favorite) and The Hallmark Channel but was unable to find one! I finally had to resort to leaving my comments on the “complaint” site! Sorry. I wanted to let you know I have your two channels on contineually, from start to finish of the “Holiday” Movie Season, flipping from one to another to see what movie I will enjoy the most! On the top of my list, for two years now has been “Finding Father Christmas” and “Engaging Father Christmas”. The ENTIRE cast is terrific! I was sad to see “Julia” was replaced this year with another young girl. I HOPE the sequels continue with the SAME cast, as Erin Krakow and Niall Matter are Wonderful together and seem to have that “spark” that is believable. I hope we can look forward to next years sequel, Betrothing Father Christmas (or something to that effect)! Please don’t change the cast anymore. There is nothing more disappointing than getting SO attached to actors in originals and sequels and their character is switched out with a new actor.

Thank-you

Lack of diversity

Dear Hallmark,

I've noticed that every single leading man and lady are white! Not only that but 99.9% of the rest of the characters are also white. I've also noticed there is not one single lbgt character. What's the deal? The fact that you cast Candace Cameron is disturbing enough but please please please tell me that you are not run by a bunch of racists and bigots!

Diversity & equality for XMas movies

I have to agree with many of your complainants. You are not including the diverse culture that is the USA. How about including, as your MAIN characters, persons from different cultures, religions, and races. Include, as your main story, holiday traditions from other religions. I can only remember one movie that included the Jewish faith.

Also, please bring in the opportunity for older actors to be the MAIN characters. Love stories are not just for the 25-40 crowd. AND please have the guy move to join his more successful love.

Thanks you’re your time.

christmas bombardment

PLEASE! Your nonstop bombardment of Christmas movies is sooooooo ridiculous. Since when does quantity supersede
quality? Who in their right mind wants Christmas movies every day and night even before halloween? If driving your
avid fans to look in another direction was the motivation---- then congrats-- it's working.!

HMN verses HLMRK

I so mush enjy watching the Hallmark channel. I was wondering why the Christmas movies are only shown one one or the other channel. You won’t show the same movie on both channels. My mother loves Candice Cameron and you only play her movies on the HMN channel which she does not get. I movie in question is “journey Back To Christmas. It would be nice to see these movies played on both channels.

Diversity

First I want to say, I LOVE this channel. It is one of the few channels I feel provides safe viewing for adults and youth.
I do have a concern I'd like to express. As an avid watcher year-round of Hallmark, I rearly if ever see any shows that are representative of diversity.

Seemingly, this channel caters to all nationalities and races, it would be GREAT to see cast that represent your viewers. Hispanic, Africian American and others as the main characters.

Please consider remembering that your viewers are the same that support your other areas in the hallmark line. We love your Mahogany cards. And we would also like to be represented in a romantic holiday drama.

Thank you for hearing from me. I do hope soon we can see diversity in the shows you air.

Thanks,
A faithful Hallmark fan!!!

racial diversity

I love the Christmas movies but I wonder why there is no racial diversity? This is America. The melting pot. Your obvious choice of
white actors only seems to be right out of the Trump administrations bias against people of color,
I for one find it more difficult to watch your channels without feeling a little shamed of my whiteness and Hallmarks lack of providing
our children with a more diverse, loving view of our world. Next year when you make new movies, perhaps we will see some
people of all races included. In the mean time I will carefully and thoughtfully help my children and grandchildren receive a more
realistic and acceptance of different cultures. Of course that means a lot less Hallmark movies and shows.
Thank you!

Diversity

As much as I love watching The Hallmark Channel's. I would like to know why there's not any diversity in the actors and actresses on high Hallmark I don't believe I've ever seen African American Christmas Story on your station is there any particular reason why.
