Christmas movies

I love your Christmas movies, and I'll miss them until next year. But please, when they are being filmed, water the Christmas trees... They always look so wilty in the lot scenes.

programming

Please do not discontinue showing the Walton's. Please do not replace it with Last Man Standing. CMT already shows this show for three hours every day. what good what it do if you show the same one. You are the channel that truly shows family living at what is,.... please do not change your scheduling. You said before the Christmas movies began on October 31st that the Walton's and Little House would return after the first of the year. I hope that you keep your word.

Never too much Christmas

People complain about Christmas movies from October to January....but don't complain about the Golden Girls on from January through October. There were 180 episodes of the Golden Girls....my goodness that is a lot of Golden Girls...and to think the entire series is shown at least twice each year if not more. At least there are new Hallmark Christmas movies made each year. I do think there could be a bit more of the older Christmas movies. Bottom line for me, I watch Hallmark Channel from when Christmas shows start until they end....and I stop watching Hallmark when Christmas programming ends. The most depressing night of the year is New Years Night when the Golden Girls are on instead of another Hallmark original Christmas movie. I'd LOVE to see a third Hallmark Channel...dedicated only to Christmas 24/7, 365....I'd be watching all the time...Thank goodness for DVR because I'll watch my favorites at least 3 or 4 times each month it isn't on Hallmark.

Christmas movies

Please don't start the Christmas movies any earlier than you already do! Also, you could leave I Love Lucy, The Golden Girls and two ( 2 ) hours of Home and Family, then start the Christmas Movies until 11:00 PM. I am not a fan of movie after movie so don't watch much Hallmark over the Christmas season.

Christmas Movies

For all the reviews about too many Christmas movies and too soon, there are thousands of people who are tuning in without leaving a complaint. I'd have to think ratings take off the first night of Christmas 24/7 (minus the Home and Family 4 hours) and continue until they end on January 1st. I'd think ratings on January 2nd are like the lines in the retail stores....gone! The more Christmas movies the better! You don't have to have so many new movies each year. We like watching the older movies just as much. The only complaint I have is I wish the programming started at the same time for The Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie and Mystery. We often will change channels to Movie and Mystery during the Home and Family show). Inevitably we miss at least an hour of a show by switching from one channel to the other. Bottom line is I think many voters would LOVE to see Christmas start in October!.....if your Christmas in July is any indication, I don't think you can do too much Christmas!

bad language on "the Middle'

I just love the show, "The Middle" and would love to have my family members watch it, but the fact that all members of the family use God's name every two seconds really turns me off and I can't let them watch such bad examples. The writing is terrific and captures a great exaggeration of family interplay. I love the story lines and I feel like kids could learn some things from the program, but not if they have to listen to cursing and out and out swearing. What does that teach them? Please think about toning down the bad language for our childrens' sakes. Thanks

Hey, the Hallmark channel with our Time Warner is showing fine but no sound. At first it was showing fine with sound then they were just showing a Yule log and the sound has been missing ever since.

no complaint just compliment

Please continue with the great family shows you show. You are the only network who brings family back to many how have never had or have lost. the Walton's and Little House are some great shows on what family means and being together. There are not many new family shows that show this. The new family shows include back stabbing, lying, cheating, drinking, and dysfunction. Sometimes people need to see a family role model in order to know how to be one. Do not take this away from the many families who count on seeing these shows. God Bless You

ALL OF THE COMPLAINERS

Some of the complaints I just read are racist or, just someone who seems to like to complain. One example: I saw Geena Davis on Home and Family. SHE DID NOT INDICATE THAT HILLARY CLINTON OR ANYONE HAS BEEN ELECTED I'M NOT A HILLARY FAN, BUT LET'S DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.. KEEP THE CONSTITUTION IN TACT FOR A CHANGE. GEENA HAS A RIGHT TO VOICE HER OPINION, AND HALLMARK would be WRONG to have not allowed it. FOCUS on what we want with LOVE IN OUR HEARTS, and it WILL APPEAR!
I LOVE HALLMARK. IT ISN'T PERFECT, BUT MUCH CLOSER THAN OTHER NETWORKS!

More Diversity Please

I love the Hallmark Channel and the movies that are showcased. I love them so very much! I just wish they showcased more diversity. Asian, African-American and Hispanic people also have values and love these movies too. I have definitely seen more diversity in the supporting cast of characters in the movies this year but I definitely hope that we will be able to get more movies that represent more of your viewership. In the 50 million people that watched Hallmark this year I am certain they were not all just from one demographic. Thanks and keep making wonderful movies!

Lack of Diversity and Profanity

I really look forward to your 24/7 Christmas movies!! Don't stop!!! However, a new storyline would be great besides the typical boy meets girl story. Also, it gets a little boring watching White Americans as the star on EVERY show. It would be nice to see some Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, etc. Just something different!!!! Also, it's really hard to find movies without profanity so I look forward to that, however there are a few shows that say an occasional D**** or H****. It's really not needed at all. I guarantee your viewers will still watch!!:-)

Too many Christmas movies

For the love of God - enough with two months, 24/7 Christmas movies!!!! Aside from the fact it's over the top trivialization - not EVERYone on the planet finds these saccharine movies entertaining. I'm sure you have been reminded that not all people have the happiest of times during the holidays. It's almost like you are intentionally "in your face" with little regard for your audience. And you're supposed to be the "caring" people. And btw, it's 12/27 - when the hell will this schedule end?!?! You should focus on making outstanding holiday movies for which you won award after award! Leave one station non Christmas at least!

no complaint just compliment

It was so nice to see a fresh movie for the New Year in When Calls The Heart. Thank you for always being a family oriented channel. Please consider to continue with the family traditions of the Walton's and Little House on the Prairie. We are not subjected enough to the good old fashion ways of what family truly means. This gives the ones who do not have this the greater picture of family and love. THANK YOU for supplying that. God Bless You All

When Calls the Heart season 3 premier

Advertising was for December 31st for the season premier of season 3 of when calls the heart. Family decided to watch tv and we ended up turning to the hallmark channel and the season premiere was almost over. Went to look for additional airings and could not find any. Very frustrating Hallmark. Not a good way to get people to watch your series and keep them watching. If you want to drive viewing down then keep this up.

Scheduling of shows in January

I have always admired the family/Christian type shows and movies that are shown on this channel. But when I checked the January schedule it shows that the Walton's are being replace by Last Man Standing. This is no how a good family show..... and to be replaced for the Walton's??? Please if you are listening.... do not replace the Walton's. If you want to replace something, replace The Golden Girls who are not a very family or Christian oriented show. Thanks for all that you do!!

Santa's

Some of the Santa's you use really look kind of fake. My son is a professional Santa and would put some of yours to shame. His beard and hair are all his own, no fake beard for him. How can he get in touch with your for an interview????????

uncomplaint complaint

There are plenty of channels that host only African American films and actors. No one complains about them, so let's be fair to Hallmark. We're getting carried away with PC, diversity is all around if we want to see it.

Boring White Christmas Movies

I have watched the Hallmark channel for years. However, their Christmas movies have gotten worse with all young attractive Caucasian men and women. Where is the diversity, Hallmark? Why no black and Afro Latinos in your Christmas movies? Also your Christmas movies look cheap and they are boring. I would rather see the 1951 version of 'A Christmas Carol' on Hallmark.

Extreme Lack of diversity!!!

First, I love the Hallmark channel. I love the promotion of love, kindness, faith, and family. It seems that Hallmark only acknowledges this concept for white America. Occasionally someone of another race gets to play the "best friend, neighbor, or assistant," but never lead roles.
The lead roles are all young, pretty, skinny, white women connecting with young, good looking, slim, white men. Let's even look at it from the prospective of age and size. Again, no representation. Hallmark is becoming the cookie cutter channel.
Even on the Hallmark Mysteries, all of the leading ladies, white; and now they have added Brook Shields. At least she and Lori McLaughlin(sic) get to represent middle age ladies.
Hallmark needs to seriously consider their audience and at least make some attempt at diversity. I know there are a lot of great actresses of other races out there; some just beginning and some established. Whether it is Hispanic, Asian, Indian or African, as well as age and size, representation is needed in a lead way, not second hand as you currently show.

The Bridge and waiting a year for part 2

No mention in the EW Holiday TV-Movie Hot List that "Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge" was Part 1 and not to be continued until December of 2016. Previews of Part 2 aired making me think that it's already been shot and Hallmark is deciding to try something new to get ratings by making loyal viewers angry. I'm looking at other channels for holiday movies from now on.

lack of diversity; too middle america

Every movie in recent years revolves around boy-meets-girl as opposed to the magic of Christmas as in the past when the subject matter was less formulaic. There are no story lines that rivet on characters who are black, Asian, disabled, poor or over 50. A couple of Hallmark Christmas movies this year involved Hispanics but only in a boy-loves-girl story line, and the boy was a sappy middle American white guy. Why couldn't the lovely Hispanic girl meet a Hispanic guy? Don't you think that people other than the sucky types you feature year after year watch Hallmark Channel and celebrate Christmas?
Another problem is that the actors/actresses seem to look too much alike and that makes the weak plots harder to stomach. Everyone looks like a 25-year-old gym rat usually with dark hair and a faint Canadian accent. Yuck. That isn't America even though the plots are written as a slice of middle American life.
Speaking again of diversity, what about some fat people? And I am not referring to ridiculously padded Santas. Fat people enjoy Christmas. Why can't there be story lines that focus on a fat person or people over 50 or for that matter people over 70? The weak totally non-diverse story lines give the false impression that Christmas belongs to a narrow group of 25-year-old gym rats who want nothing more than to fall in love with each other on Christmas.
