The new reduced fat wheat thins are terrible. I've been addicted to wheat thins reduced fat crackers since 1995 when my girlfriend introduced them to me. It's sad that you have to change perfection. I hate the BHT additive, too!

I bought a family size box of wheat thins and immediately noticed that they were pale in color (like under baked dough). They lacked the golden brown, crispy, flavorful cracker I was used too. These were sort of stale in texture and lacked much flavor. I figured I may have purchased a bad batch of crackers. I bought another box when I went to the store and to my disappointment they were also pale and flavorless. I have always loved this cracker and it was hard to eat just one serving...unfortunately, if this is the "new" cracker then I will not be purchasing again.

Coke once created "new coke" and boy did they learn a lesson about changing what the consumer base already liked. Nabisco might want to take notes!!

Do you seriously think your customers won't notice the sneaky changes you make? It's obvious no one likes the plastic packaging which ensures you get more broken biscuits, not to mention the recycling side of plastic, and the size is absolutely laughable. Your marketing team must have a tough job trying to make them look better than the "original" originals. You should take the word "original" from your packaging as they are clearly not the "original".
Listen to the feedback and admit you made a mistake on this one.

My last purchase of your original Premium Saltine Crackers in fresh stacks was very disappointing. In all the many years I have bought these, they have always been very white and good. These were very brown, obviously overbaked and that flavor came through in the crackers.
Would like the cost of my purchase refunded. It was a 13.6 oz package.

It had been awhile since I bought your crackers. I was extremely disappointed with my purchase. Tasteless, not enough salt, becomes a blob in my soup instantly. Today I purchased a box of Walmart brand. They taste as crappy as yours. Change your recipe back to the "true" original or you've lost a consumer.

I haven't heard anything or read anything until now after becoming ill from the crackers in soup. Three sleeves from one box were fine. A fourth sleeve was just opened and it contained the same toxic presence noted by many I've now read on line. I've kept half the sleeve not opened. If you want them I'll send them to you. Seriously, what the heck caused it and will you change this cherished product back to what it was?

Terrible taste. Perfume smell. Taste like dishwashing detergent. Thought I was being poisoned. Bad batch? Any recalls? Will try another box but will throw away if they taste like this again. Maybe you should investigate.

Why did you change the recipe for saltines? The new ones just crumble away, not able to hold any sort of topping on them. They also don't taste the same. I thought the first couple of boxes were because I had gotten some old or mishandled crackers. Saltines have been a staple for many years in my cupboard. Guess I need to change.

The overall decline in the quality and taste of your "Original Premium" Saltines leaves me with a bad and crumbly taste in my mouth. Nabisco should be ashamed. Since you appear to be degrading other products as well, I will in the future simply avoid all Nabisco brand products.

Premium Original Saltines are no longer Original or Premium. In your efforts to squeeze another nickel out of your loyal customers, you have degraded your product to an unacceptable degree. After over 30 years, I am leaving you.
Based on this complaint board, you seem to be doing the same thing with your other Nabisco products, so I will simply avoid purchasing any Nabisco products.

I also think the excess packaging is quite unnecessary and very wasteful. I will now be purchasing Aldi brand crackers or Arnotts Salada.

"premium" saltines are not premium any more. For years we always chose nabisco premiums over Zesta because they had a fresher
flavor and were much more crisp. Not any more. Seem to be the same. Just kind of crummy and tasteless. You can't even spread peanut butter on them without them breaking. If you put them in soup they just soften up and melt away into a blob. Looking for a new brand that actually has the characteristics of a saltine cracker . Another sellout by some stupid junior executive who thinks he or she knows better than their customer. The change probably increased the profit margin by 1 % and they think we wouldn't even notice the change. Well we did. We'll never buy another Nabisco brand of anything.

We have always had a dedicated glass canister for 30+ years which was reserved for the safe storage of our beloved Premium Saltines. We never ate another brand growing up. Long gone are the days of having to preserve their freshness or to carry on the tradition. The texture has changed so drastically, that they quickly turn to mush in a bowl of soup, which would be fine if I had no teeth. Not to mention the taste difference. They now taste like the generic packaged saltines that come with a side salad. Some things are just too delicious as they were, that the recipe should stand unchanged. Wish me luck on my search for a replacement.

Saltines were my favorite snack and I ate them nearly everyday the new knew are so bad I don't think anyone would buy them anymore. Please bring back the crackers we all love

Will never buy these biscuits again. New packaging and the most vile tasting excuse for a biscuit inside.As a former, fraithful &, frequent buyer of Premiums I'm disgusted buy the product now offered it is nothing like the old Premium. Literally leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth and all my family. When we took ours back to Woolworths to complain all they could say was : that's how they are now.

Why in god's name have you changed the packaging on Crispbreads. Due to soft packaging they are always broken. Sorry will not be buying any more.

I agree with the many complaints about the lack of quality in the Ritz Crackers. At first I thought I may have gotten a box that was dropped because the crackers crumbled so easily, but after my third box of crumbling crackers, I'm done buying these. Very disappointed with the decision to go cheap instead of continuing to offer a quality product.

I love the low sodium Ritz Chips but can not find them in any store around me. So I bought the original Low fat and they were so salty no one could eat them. Thought it was just a batch gone wrong. But the next two bags are the same. Taste like eating pure salt with very little chip taste. Now I have 3 bags that is not etible. $3.78 for each bag!! What a waste of money. Please make more with low salt.

What has happened to saltine crackers? I too thought I had kept them too long but the new box smells awful, tastes bad and has a horrible aftertaste. That's 2 boxes wasted, will look for something else for my soups and chili. Glad to know it's not just me.

If it's not broke don't fix it.
Nabisco had a great product, but someone had the smart idea how to make a little more profit by changing the formula. I worked for a very large corporation that did the same thing and ended up loosing 50% market share. They never recovered because they would not go back to the old formula, just kept changing the formula forward. I hope your corporation doesn't go the same route. I have been eating saltines for over 50 years , and I can,t or will not purchase them anymore.
