No pay out

All documents were submitted last year,benefit statement was sent to me the same year 2015 interests were to be calculated and includeed Till now Mibfa is still calculating.What do Mibfa use to calculate thier hands n toes.???Frustrating...Mibfa had my record and all information while they were deducting my money now what is so dificult to pay out...#0727424264

Promise of payout made 2 years ago and a reference provided to no avail - payment still did not happen?

Dear MIBFA Administrators / Board of Trustees

My wife, Merchia Links (ID not provided for security reasons) is now waiting more that 2 years after she received a call from the MIBFA offices confirming that payment is imminent and this is now imminent more than 2 years.

I listen to radio 702 regularly and am amazed that due to this pressure, Board Members respond and make it happen? This is not regular as the point it illustrates proves that something is wrong with a number of payouts and those that got through to 702 is not an exception? The persona; visits to the Johannesburg offices is highly frustrating and she only meets with the same promises and have observed bribes being passed even to the guard/s that 'regulate the queues'? My wife also know of people in my area that applied afterwards and received already and applied for the next tranche - how does this work?

What can she do and / or whom could she contact directly to make payment happen?

MY EX HUSBAND ANTHONY DIED IN JUNE 2015. HE LEFT A WILL AND TESTAMENT WHERE HE MADE A SO CALLED FRIEND HIS BENEFICIARY.

HOWEVER MY BROTHER WHO STILL STAY IN THE HOUSE WHERE ANTHONY LIVED BEFORE HE DIED, FOUND A NEW WILL AND TESTAMENT IN THE KITCHEN CUPBOARD OF THE HOUSE.
I ASKED MY ATTORNEY TO TAKE TO THE MASTERS SO THAT THE ESTATE CAN BECOME MINE.

I HAVE EXPLAINED AND FORWARDED ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO MAGDA AT ALEXANDER FORBES AND MARIA AT MIBFA ( TEL 8702187)

THE NEW WILL STATES THAT IAM THE ONLY BENEFICARY TO ALL ANTHONYS ESTATE ( IINCLUDING ALL MONIES)

ANTHONY AND I HAD NO KIDS BUT HE RAISED MY TWO KIDS AS HIS OWN. BEFORE HE DIED WE DIDNT LIVE TOGETHER , BUT HAD A GOOD UNDERSTANDING,

I CANNOT SEE WHY ANTHONY WOULD GIVE ALL HIS MONEY AND PROPERRTY TO THIS PERSON WHO MUST A FAMILY MEMBER , BUT JUST A AQUINTENCE WHICH HE WILL MEET IN THE BAR,

MY FAMILY AND I LOOKED AFTER ANTHONY WHEN HE WAS SICK

MY PROBLEM IS THAT ACCORDING TO MARIA THE CASE IS ON HOLD AS SHE DOESNT KNOW WHO IS SUPPOSED TO GET THE MONEY BETWEEN ME AND DONOVAN BRICKELS.

AND THE CASE NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED..

IAM STILL PAYING ALL THE UTILLITIES AS ANTHONY IS NOT THERE TO DO IT ANY MORE,,
THE NEW WILL AND TESTAMENT WE FOUND STATES THAT IAM THE SOLE BENEFICIARY OF THE WHOLE ESTATE

Shocking !!

I received an sms 3 years ago saying that they are busy with the calculation!

Late payment

It is my personal opinion that this complaint will fall on deaf ears, but here goes anyway.
The reason all of us agree to pay towards the fund is to have something to fall back on in case life deals us a bad hand.
If I did not need the money , I really would rather let it ride until I do.
In applying for my provident fund, I was told that faxed applications were not accepted even tho it shows on the form to fax the application, I then sent my paperwork via registered mail, when I received the letter saying the paperwork had been received I contacted the fund by phone and was told that the documentation I sent was complete and correct and it would take 60 to 90 working days for payment.
When the 90 working days were up I once again called to inquire as to the claim, I was instructed to bring myself and my ID to the office in Anderson st, because the copy I sent ( stamped by the SAPS ) cannot be used and I had to personally bring it for verification, which I did, the man at the counter told me all was in order and it should not take long now.
I called the fund again and was told that the 90 working days only started when I furnished my ID. not professional at all.
What the fund managers don't understand, I did not claim because it would be nice to have some extra money, NO I claimed because I know how long it takes to find employment in SA, now thanks to your incompetence I cannot even afford to go to an interview and I am in the process of loosing my house and the water and lights will be cut off next week.

PROVIDENT PAYOUT

Its been 8months since I applied for my provident money and still nothing every-time I go to inquire im told to come back after 3weeks and im unemployed to be traveling this much not knowing if i will get what is due to me. Last time i went i was told that they waiting for the person who calculates whats due to me and they will call to verify my details but so far nothing.

MIBFA people please get your act together and give us what is ours the money.

Pay out take long

To whom it may concern. I have submitted all documents required from MIBFA early December 2015. They advised me that pay out will be made 2nd week in January 2016. I phoned and they said that the matter is now with the calculating department and pay out will be within a week or so. Why does this take so long? There are dishonest people paying certain companies to push their application and get their money within a month of submitting claim. I do it the honest way and have to wait and wait. I have calling u almost 27 minutes no one it's picking de fone just machines dat speak with me. May u plz tell me wich time must we use to call u? Remember we are using cell fone not landlines.

I'm waiting for long time now for payout

Hi I'm waiting a long time for my provident to pay out I was at jhb many times now and I phone many times and still nothing everytime they said it will be 2 to 4 weeks my numba is 0722686379 sorry for the complaint but really its almost 2 year in total

8403015589086..im really not impressed with the level of service being offered I submitted my claim at the beginning of on 03-09-2015 but I get told it was only logged on the 27th of September..as for the level of incompetency at the call call centre is really out of this world as you never get any accurate feedback when making a follow up except being told they'll get back to you..i really don't see myself using this services ever again..

Payout taking to long, ts pathetic

I have submitted my forms on 03/08/2015 till today I haven't receive my money. Every time i go there I'm told that the person (Thabiso Jolingana) in verification department has a backlog of work,so i have to wait up until his up to date with his work which we know its not going to happen, coz clearly they are not working. i confronted him and told me i should work through his supervisor. I tried to get hold of his supervisor, but no luck. and he also told me that they are working on the special projects for big companies where the have retrenched 100+ people then only will they process us the individuals claims.MIBFA is a very unorganized organization with incompetent
people that cant do their jobs.This money is mine and they are not doing me a favor but they are getting paid to service us the clients.How must people live when they have to wait for their own money that was deducted from their salaries month after month without fail. MIBFA needs to back to the drawing board and restructure the whole MIBFA.

mibla sleeping no responds

I want my provident fund money to be paid out but no one at mibfa can tell me when just say up to 4monrhs how the hell can I wait so long we don't live in stone age mibfa must wake up and start to do their work properly unexeptable this is my money and I want it now what's going on in that ofices that u taking so long are u sleeping the whole day seems to me u don't know how to run a company only by making money on shares and stockes u keep peoples money longer than u should so that u can make more money that's wrong very wrong

its the 6-12-2015 and i stile have not received any money for all from the time have called numerous times travailing to your offices in JHB CBD getting the same answer from the time i stated to inure of what will the sum be for my insurance money same answer i get all the time its still wattling for calculation the lady i spoke to at the offices in town and the time i called the call center send the person in-charge of handling my account a email and that is all progress that was maid its four moths now i am handing this matter to the Ombudsman. regards

I called about 100 times and spoke to Irene and Clinton from your offices who does not come back to me I was promised my payout last week and up to date no response or a email from any of your staff this is really bad is their anyone that can help so that you can get your money PLEASE HELP with this disgusting service that the clients get it sucks

Payout TAKING TOO LONG

The service is PATHETIC.The four months waiting period has come and gone and i have been told that my application has not yet been seen to.
This is UNACCEBTABLE and i will be seeking action against the fund as they take advantage of people who are dessperate to claim THEIR money!

Payment of Benefits

I Marce D. Booth have been struggling for over a year now to get my benefits due to me paid out. In August of 2014 my contract was ended with SME in Richards Bay. I sent
the paperwork to MIBFA for payout, in October they informed me my id copy is not clear and I have to resend the original paperwork again. I was told I am not allowed
to fax or email it, they only process claims through post. I posted all the paperwork by registered post from the post office in Vryheid, KZN. When we phoned MIBFA in November
they again said the copy of the id is not clear and we have to resend everything again. I was told by the MIBFA agent if the company I worked for put the company
stamp on the copy of the id there will be no reason to withhold payment. I sent the copy to SME where it was stamped, I certified the copy at the SAPS in Vryheid
KZN and resend the paper. MIBFA than claimed they did not receive the post. We than went through the whole process again and sent the envelope with Zultrans,
when we phoned the acknowledge that they received it but claimed the bank mandate was not with the paperwork. We must phone again in 2 weeks, where they than claimed
that they found the Bank Mandate. We were told again to phone 2 weeks later which we did and was told the paperwork is at the SARS office we must again phone 2 weeks
later. When we phoned, June 2015, we were told that everything is clear, I am no 358 in the que and they only allowed to do 6 payment per day, but I would get my money in July
2015. July went passed and we phoned them yet again in August where the lady told us the male person whom worked with my claim has resigned and my claim has
been transferred to a different person. I told her it is unfair to punish the customers if someone leave it not our fault, and I have been waiting for this money for over a year now.
I am unemployed and need my money urgently. The lady said she understand we have to phone again in 2 weeks. We phoned again in September, where this lady
said that the previous lady was not allowed to give out such information. Now this morning of 3/10/2015 we tried phoning MIBFA and we are told by the answering machine the
office hours is Monday to Friday from 7h30 till 17h00 and on Saturday from 7h00 to 12h00. We phoned at 10h21. I am very displeased with the service we get from MIBFA.
I did everything they asked me to do, spent a lot of money on postage and phone calls, SARS cleared me, so I don't understand what the hold up is with my claim.
