Surplus Pension Benefit Statement

After reading this list of complaints I have definitely lost any confidence or hope in MBFA. My story is similar to each and everyone of these complaints. I am starting to wonder if these call centre agents are prepared before hand to just hand down the same BS to each member that has been waiting. It's a disgrace but then what do you expect when Customer Service is non-existent and they know that our hands are tired because who do you complain to fir a resolution???

SURPLUS PAYOUT

I am waiting now for months for MIBFA to pay out my surplus money. Every time they say phone back. The service sucks and the staff is rude

No Payment Anytime Soon

My name is Moses Mbuyisa.

I have been waiting since March 2015 for my payment from MIBFA. I phone them every month to follow up and every time they have the same story. The claim has been approved, they are just waiting for their supervisor to sign it and that you need to phone again in 4 weeks time...

Whenever you phone them, you speak to someone different, so you have to explain everything to them from scratch. I am fed up with all their lies and empty promises. Same old story over and over.

I am currently unemployed and have a wife and children to support. I am thus depending on this money.

This strongly believe that this whole thing is a farce. You duly comply with your monthly instalments, but when it comes to them having to perform, you wait for years for your money (if any). I can't help but believe that we are blatantly getting robbed by these entities.

WAITING FOR PAYOUT

I wright this on behalf of my brother and sister they still waiting for their money. We are 6 children in total and 4 already got their claims been paid to them and only half of the total which is due to us. My brother (Leon) and sister (Mandy Scheepers) still waiting for their first payment which was proms to be paid last month already. they have call sins and every time this lady with name of Tenslin on 011 870 2319 keep on tallying them a story to call back the following week. Please' all we want is to pay which is due to us, My father work hard for this money all his life for us to benefit from it. Pay out of surplus

My father completed all the forms in 2013, they told him to wait 18 months and to call them if did not hear from them. So he has been calling since 2015 just to be told to call back the following month. We are now in 2016 and still the same response.

I have submited my forms they email me then I fone them to confirm they told me I send in a copy and that I did not signed my bank paper I was so shocked how can u tel me its a copy if u emailed it to me and the bank manager was called to verify if its correctly filled in and the staff is so rude u can't get a nice audable answer common I smell a snake

Mibfa withdrawal taking to long

Good day. I am fedup with mibfa pensionfund. I have applied for my pension witdrwal in june 16, mibfa admitted that they have recieved all my documents and everything is in order. Mibfa started to work on my withdrawal on 9july16. Now 5 weeks later i am waiting for a answer, i am the 1 buying airtime to phone them, i spend 100s of rand worth of airtime to phone them, with every phone call i make to mibfa i get a different consultant, and everytime i get a different story. I do send email direct to the supervisor of the withdrawal department Sharonn Ngodweni just to get the right answer but she ignores my emails. I am unemployed ans stuggeling, while mibfa sits with a lot off my hard earned money.. All I want from mibfa is a real answer where is my money and how far is my money from payout. Still waiting

I'm waiting more than 4 months for my provident fund payout... all empty promises and everytime I phone the say I must call them back in 2 week... Then after the next 2 week I must call them back in 3 weeks.. se vice really sucks... please reply 0783583177. Mr pj knowles

Mibfa withdrawal taking to long

Good day there. My name is Eugene McLeod. I have send all the needed documents in june month to mibfa for withdrawing my pension. They admitted that they have recieved my documents and started to work on my payout on july 9. Now 5weeks later no word from them, I spend a hell alot of money to phone after them, just to get a different story every time from different consultens answering the phone, I do send private emails staight to the supervisor at the witdrawal department but she also ignores me, my debt have been handed over to collections department, i am unemoloyed and stugeling, I want mibfa to answer me straight and tell me what going on. 0745198203

MIBFA SURPLUS FUND PAYOUT

Sir/Madam

Initial claim handed in April 2014.

After I missed the verification call from your office I handed the form verifying my identity (Department of Home Affairs) as well as W&L Account in beginning of June 2016.

I have been awaiting payment for the last 3 months.

I have phoned numerous times over the last 2 1/2 years. I don't receive feedback any more even when i phone i am told there is a backlog and i must just wait.

How long must we still wait?

Surplus Fund

I have submitted ALL documentation requested for my Surplus fund to be paid out. This was done 8 months ago. Still it's apparently at claims department. This is "Pathetic" service and very "un-professional". Every time you phone its the same old story over and over again. This is by far the worst service I ever received.

Pension not paying out

To whom this may concern I would like lodge my complete of pay out issues of my pension.
I applied for my pension to pay out more than 6 months ago , from the time that I applied if I didnt go in to metal bored I would not have known that there was a problem with my contact number. After leaving metal bored I reserved a letter 2 weeks later to state there was a problem with my contact number. My e-mail address would have been a easier and quicker way to get in contact with me. But it didn't stop there when I phoned in on a regular bases I got the run around about when I would reserve pay out. Further on if I didnt phone I would not have knownot that there was a problem confirming my banking details. When I rectified my banking details I was told two weeks and pay out would be done and this is more than a month now. There is no real out come to know when I'll reserve my pay out. In all the years of being a member metal bored industries this is the worst serves that I have ever reserved. Metal bored in my opinion is not there for there members like they used to be.please contact me on 0815954330

Contribution statement for SARS

I was trying to complete my tax return and found that I need to include my contribution statement from MIBFA.
I withdrew my funds in June 2016 but obviously still need to submit my tax return to SARS for the period Feb 2015 to Feb 2016.
Here's where the catch comes in... I contact MIBFA and they tell me that they are unable to give me a contribution statement until 2017 as I have withdrawn my funds and therefore there is no statement for the 2015/2016 period and that there is absolutely no way that they could tell me what my contributions for the 2015/2016 period were.
Apparently I should just tell SARS to wait until 2017.
Do you think that SARS would be happy with this if I just tell them to wait like MIBFA wants me to???
LOL!!! I'm absolutely dumbfounded that an organisation that is supposed to look after so many peoples future can have this type of policy/procedure in place with this type of attitude.

unfair labour practice

I'm working so hard every time Ive been called at mittal for real tree,what I don't understand is I work as an export but everytime we gonna reach 3month they call us off and call it lay-off. And secondly when they call us back why should we get paid every after a month we worked so it's like 1st month we work for free then get paid for 2nd month, it's not fair as we also have families to take care of. On the other hand we do medicals by ourselves yet we don't get a chance to work like normal people with good job to look after. Please follow this state /points at slanted at vanderbijlpark works/ #real tree is unfair.

PENSION DEATH CLAIM

I NEED MATHEPELO OF HEAD OFFICE TO CONTACT ME , SHE PHONED MY SISTER AND SAID THAT A COPY OF MY MUMS DEATH CERTIFICATE IS MISSING AND THAT WE MUST SEND CERTIFIED COPY . I COURIER IT ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND NOW NO ONE IS ABLE TO HELP ME . WE GOT PROOF OF THE DOCUMENTS BEING DELIVER TO 42 ANDERSON .

Unproffesional (MIBFA)

This is poor service.

We are waiting from March for provident fund to be paid out.
We were told on the 28 of July that we must go to FNB for approval on the amount as it is greater then 50K and we did.
After we went to the bank we were told it was withdrawn on your side as there was a problem with SARS but we have a tax clearance document.

Then we were told that the wrong amount was paid over and it was reversed.
We have rent to pay and we need money to survive.
Now we are told to wait until next week Friday.
How do I elaborate this issue further?
Please assist urgently.

I have to survive.
This is very poor service after all the contributions I have made.

non payment of mibfa provident on retirment

after going on retirement at age 65 on 31/12/2015 after working at schaeffler south africa. i have tried in vain to get any settalment.i have been promised numerous times that it will be paid tomorrow into my annuity fund by nivash sing and his superior marcia chang . unfortunatly that day never comes.it has now gotten to the stage that i have used up all my savings and have lost fifty thousand in interesrt i could have earned am i being punished because i am white or is my funds being diverted.the company i worked for, is not allowed to help me i am told by them.what am i as white unemployed male aged 65 suposed to do to survive,lose my house to keep mibfa eemployees happy.

Surplus no payout

I Have sent registered post about 5 years ago, with no supersize still no payout. I did ALL that were asked of me. Now I'm in Botswana so I recon I will never see my benefits. What to do next.......?

Mibfa Surplus

Good day reader

I did submit my surplus apportion claim in 2011,after following up every 4 weeks as they told you to do in 2015 they evensuly told me my document are missing must submit new mandates sertifided Id,then after months of enquiries they told me to go to Capetown branch for face to face verification due to was moving from Jhb to Capetown.They phoned me verifing my bank details say payment in 3 weeks in January 2016,nothing happen so went to Capetown branch,Clinton phoned Jhb found out they forgot to verify my Id number,If not for him would still wayting for answers,They pay out a portion due to 2 payments submitted to me,they had both totals together,why they dont pay it together I did not know,lucky If got a copy of outstanding amounts.
I keep following up every 4 weeks recieved only computer generated emails,no one follow up,I did email Clinton on Capetown branch he say I must follow time frame,what time frame ???????,Would like this to be sorted out.
The Call centre at Mibfa is useless

AGENTS CLAIMING TO BE FROM MIBFA ARE CALLING - ALMOST DAILY - STATING THAT THEY WILL SPEED UP THE PROCESS IF WE PAY THEM OTHERWISE WE WILL NOT GET PAID THE MONEY THAT IS DUE TO US.
