The new ticketing system

How come the token can only have single journey?This is troubling those people who travel every single day.It suppose to have a two way token system for the new ticketing system or else let people to purchase the return token once they reach the station.Please improve this new system,It is not convenience at all

I have made a one way KTM ticket reservation via KTMB E-ticket system on 02-10-2016 at morning.
Reservation details:
1. Origin: BUKIT MERTAJAM
Destination: KL SENTRAL
Date & Time: 08-10-2016 06:38
Train no:9235
Coach: ETS-GOLD

The UOB Online Banking showed that payment successful but KTM E-ticket system show transaction UNSUCCESSFUL and I didn’t get any reference no or ticket no for this transaction in KTM E-ticket system.

Kindly refund a total amount of RM120.00 to me.

Request refund or provide ticket id

Dear Sir/Madam

I have purchased on-line ets train tickets for 2 person of which transaction is successful. However after payment is through via PBB and when I wanted to print the tickets, it says internal server error and I am unable to even get the tickets ID.

I hope the station can provide a refund of the payments made or provide me with the ticket ID number.

Very rude

The train is always late, especially after peak hour. Ticket is expensive. Worst of all, the staff have no regards for the comuter, very rude attitude.

Poor service at KTM ARAU, PERLIS

Sir / Madam :

Good evening. First of all I have few questions to ask the authorities since I don't have enough knowledge about KTM services.
1. How many counters should be opened for the customers?
2. Are KTM tickets and ETS tickets should be sold in a different counters?
3. Is there any information counters offered at each and every KTM stations?

Sir / Madam :
For your information I am student from a local university. KTM is the only transportation that are used by most of the students in Perlis. Today ( Thursday ) 13 th October 2016 at about 4:20 pm I reached Arau KTM station. There were only one counter was opened. There were only about 8 people at the counter including myself. There was a train to Butterworth at about 4:44 pm and I was waiting in the line for my turn. From the beginning, the line was moving very slow. A couple was standing in front of me and it was their turn. The couples wanted to buy ETS ticket to KL central and they were doing survey at the counter. The person in-charge (woman) she started to explain about ETS service and it took almost 15 minutes to complete their transactions and everyone in the line have to wait. While the couples discussion about the ETS ticket , a girl asked for a ticket from the person in-charge at the counter. That person in-charge said she can't sell the ticket to the girl since it's already 4:40 pm. and she can't make it in a very rude manner. She also said that she is handling another customer ( the couples). Because of the poor service at the counter I missed the 4:44 pm train and I have to wait for an hour for another train to Butterworth.

As a citizen of Malaysia everyone have all the rights to get a good service. Sir/ Madam Today I'm bringing this matter to you so that you and the authorities can take some effective actions to prevent this kind of problems in the future. Since Arau is very near to Thailand, many foreigners will be travelling by KTM and imagine if this kind of problems occur. It could bring down our countries prestige. Hope to hear from you soon. I made a KTM ticket reservation via KTMB E-ticket system for ETS service on 13/10/2016 (Thursday) at 4.43pm to book the ticket from kampar to KL sentral for dates 18/10/2016.

My citibank show payment successful and charge RM34 to my credit card, but KTM E-ticket system show transaction unsuccessful.

There are no tickets/reference ID/history to the tickets that I have purchased, nor any printouts available.

The Maybank (Reference Number 3606570592) debit card show payment successful for the amount RM124, but KTM E-ticket system show Internal system error.

There are no tickets/reference ID/history to the tickets that I have purchased, nor any printouts available.

TICKETS FOR WOODLAND - JB

This is just my personal opinions. Please increase the route between woodland and JB central for peak hours. And please increase the tickets for the trip (add the standing tickets), as no everyone need the seat. Every time I purchase the tickets for Friday, It is sold out one month before and within 1 hour. So, please add the standing tickets to lets more people can buy the tickets.

Time delay

The time management for your train arrival is really poor. You let people feel that you come on the time that you wish. The train had delay many many times and never had any improvement at all. The train that depart from Klang at 8:20am, always came late at 8:40am. Passenger wasted time waiting for train and causes delay to work due to your delay. If the train came at 8:40, reaches kl sentral the fastest also 8:33+ ,but the train to tampin line had depart at 8:28am. Then the next train is 10:14am, that makes me need to wait at kl sentral for another 45 minutes to take the next train just only for one station to reach mid valley. The number of train coming already decrease, not so frequent, then delay some more. I already tried to take one train earlier from Klang to avoid all these but sometimes there are traffic jam on the way to the train station so I will need to take the train depart from 8:20am. But Every time there's no improvement and still come damn late. Imagine waiting around 1,hour at Klang, then wait another 45minutes at kl sentral just to reach mid valley. If your train is punctual, all of these won't happen and wasted other's time. The price had already increase but the quality, punctuality not increase.

Payment transaction shows unsuccessful due to Internal Data Error but I was already charged by the bank for RM 98.
Thinking that this is a mistake, I tried another purchase the next day 4/10/2016 and it shows successful and charged another RM 98.

Request refund or resend th ticket

Dear Sir or Madam,

request refund due to ktmb system error!

I have made a KTM ticket reservation via KTMB E-ticket system on 2016-10-05 around 20:45pm to book the ticket 07/10/16 16:10PM from KL Sentral to Ipoh Perak.
The Maybank 2U bank (reference ID 16100520524415) show payment successful and deducted my bank account on 07/09/16, but KTM E-ticket system show the transaction in success but when it return to the E ticket website, it prompt "internal server error"

I very unhappy with this incident and hope I can get back the refund for total amount RM 37 from KTMB or I hope that you can resend the ticket to me via email.

I made a purchase via KTMB online for ETS service from butterworth to sentral kuala lumpur on 3/10/2016.
Payment transaction shows unsuccessful due to Internal Data Error but I was already charged by the bank for RM 61.
Thinking that this is a mistake, I tried another purchase the next day 4/10/2016 and it shows succesfull and charged another RM 61.
There are no tickets/reference ID/history to the first tickets that I have purchased, nor any printouts available.

On 14 Sep I tried to buy two tickets online, the system showed me booking error. I did call+603 - 2267 1200, and your colleague said it was due to system down and ktmb won't charge any amount to my account. BUT on 16 Sep MONEY WAS TRANSFERRED SUCCESSFULLY TO KTMB.

Poor service

I would like to complain on :-
1. The time arrangement of the train is ridiculous . 45 minit during non peak hour is too much . I am from serdang . In my opinion , the train frequency should be increase as that area contains 2 big universities . We as student have no choice other than using ktm
2. The student ktm card . Im so dissappointed the charge is so expensive compare to other public transport charge . It shouldnt be so expensive as you didnt give a good service to the customer .
3 . The fees is so expensive . Compare to the service provided . We have to wait for 45 minit for a slow moving train .
4. Regarding the student ktm card . Mine has expired last year . During my first time , you ask the customer to come and do the card at the counter . Now u only allowed us to do it online . You should have announce it . I waste my time because of you
5. Based my experience , the time shown at lcd display is not accurate at all . If the time only different around 2-3 minit , im okey with that . The worst is , it change to 1 hour different . The ktm provided at that time is not in service . I have experience this twice .
6. The cashier either in ktm komuter nor ets both gave a bad service . They talk arrogantly and does not respect the customer
7. The train frequently got stuck in the middle of journey . After a long time waiting for the train , we have to wait more inside the train as it got stuck
8. The facilities provided at the ktm station is bad . There is no fan (sometimes provided but in small quantity . We have to wait for a long time in hot temperature ) during the night time , the lamp does not fuctioning . It is so dangerous especially for women . Furthermore , we have to pay for the toilet .
9. I strongly against the new train route (it give disadvantages to the user especially myself)
10 . Besides ktm , im also the user of lrt . There is once where we got stuck in the journey as it rains heavily . Even the reasons is so strong , they still apologise to the customer and gave free 3 days service to the public . The customer service is far away good compare to ktm . It is so shame on you .
11 . the train window crack . It show your poor maintainance .

Threfore , you should work harder to improve your service . There is many people using your service , but yet you cant become a company respected by the nation . Customer use your service becahse of we have no other option , not because of your good service .

I made a purchase via KTMB online for ETS service from KL Sentral to Sungai Petani during 30/9/16 at 8:35am.
Payment transaction shows successful but I was already charged by the bank for RM 136.
There are no tickets/reference ID/history to all the tickets that I have purchased, nor any printouts available.

your morning worker is rude

hope your are reading this. i am extremely disappointed with one of your worker at Bandar Tasik Selatan around 30/9/16 6.40am to 6.50am.
i want to buy a ticket and cant provide me a small money, gave a large amount of money and he said he didnt not have money to gave as exchange. well, hope i didnt assume it wrong ( i bet they already have more than 60 customer that gave small money, IT IS TBS!!)
i beg him to do his work faster because i am already late. and he SHOUTED at me "IF U THINK U ARE, LATE COME EARLY!" it's 6.40am. do you expected me to stand there at 5.50 am to wait your train that mostly arrive late??????
and funny thing is he shouted at me with under HIS SUPERVISOR MONITORING.

dear KTM, if you cant provide us with a satisfying services at least you can do is to monitor your worker to be more polite.

Good morning/Evening to you sir/ma'am. If you are reading this,I would like to complaint about your schedule for the ETS Train(Silver).Back then,using your ETS service is my main option if i want to go back to my house(From KTM Ipoh to Sg.Buloh).I usually buy the 9PM ticket.But now,you only provide gold class?are you trying to rip off my money?Come on,it's unconvenient for me to stop at KL Sentral whereas stopping at Sg.Buloh is way nearer to my house.It is like going to a supermarket which is further from your house when there is a supermarket next to your house.You only think about profits dear KTM,not the ones who buys your tickets.

Counter ticket sold out due to online open early

This is my second time complain the issue is ticket open for sale online open before 0830am that is before the counter open at 0830am (from jb sentral to woodland ciq ) by the time counter open at 0830am even I queue the 1st one I don't get a single ticket all the ticket already sold out online. Please make it online and counter open at same time 0830am so that we got chance to buy ticket at counter not wasting our time queue before 0700am and get nothing.
