request refund due to ktmb system error!

I have made a KTM ticket reservation via KTMB E-ticket system on 2016-08-31 around 6PM.
The Maybank2U payment successful, but KTM E-ticket system show transaction failed and i didnt get any reference no or ticket no for this transaction in KTM E-ticket system.

Please refund for total amount RM 23 to me.
I have email to the [email protected] BUT NO RESPONSE from KTMB.
I keep calling +603 - 2267 1200, BUT NO PICK UP....

nternal server error in E ticket purchase after transaction done successful.

Hi,

This is a very serious issue and I cause me a loss of RM 172 in purchase the E ticket from Seremban to Kampar and also the return ticket.

I try to purchase a E ticket from https://intranet.ktmb.com.my/e-ticket/login.aspx using Google Chrome at 28/ Aug via Visa and the transaction in success but when it return to the E ticket website, it prompt "internal server error" and I cannot get the e ticket to print out. I cause my try second times and still the same. End up I give up and buy the ticket in KTM Seremban station.

Today, (31st August) I try to purchase the return ticket using Android phone browser and this time I using Maybank2u to do the transaction and still the same "internal server error" after the transaction is successfully done. So I try second attempts again and still the same error.

But finally I figure out the internal server error in E ticket website will happen if I not using IE browser. So I finally successful to done the purchase and print out the e-ticket when I done the third transaction but I try to check my back transaction history and it show that all the transactions I done before and with internal server error are complete with KTMB which is surprising me.

I attached the transaction screenshot as proof that I have done the transactions and the funny part is I cannot get the payment report in E ticket website same with the ticket history.

I very unhappy with this incident and hope I can get back the refund for total amount RM 172 from KTMB. I have email to the [email protected] and please respond ASAP. Thanks.

I bought two tickets for two ways this afternoon. The payment was made via credit card and payment was successful. But I can't print the tickets. An error message prompted out mentioned that "internal error" "Lynn will refund" . Hope that you can fix this error or refund to me at the soonest possible.

KTM Website system down

I am so disappointed with the internal management of ktm bhd. The system had been down for several days, not only one or two times but several such ocassions within a month, causing a huge trouble or inconvenience to the passengers. Like many others, we can't purchase any ETS tickets in advance. As a leading train company in malaysia, i hope that the management team will fix the problem at its best and as others said provide some alternatives for the paseengers to purchase ticket. Thanks.

Online Ticket Purchasing Issue

I had reserved 3 seats online yesterday and I already paid it via Maybank2U but then after Maybank billing me, it stated that my transaction was unsuccessful and the seats which I reserved just now were reserved by someone else. What is the problem? Why the seats which I reserved first could be reserved by someone else? I had paid for the 3 tickets but I didn't get the tickets.

I hope that you can fix this problem.

Timetable/ Train schedule

Effective from 1st September 2016, the train schedule changes. This is causing inconveniences using the public transport, which should give convenience instead of causing hassle. Besides that, the frequency is more than 1 hour lapse for the next train. During the evening rush hours, the train departs from Bukit Mertajam to Padang Rengas at 4.42pm, 5.42pm, then 7.42pm! There's a two hours gap between 5.42pm and 7.42pm which doesn't make sense for rush hours.

I suggest either to maintain the current Kamunting to Butterworth schedule, or increase the frequency during rush hours such as between 6am to 9am and 4pm to 8pm. Public transport should aim to reduce heavy traffic on the road. But if the service is below expectations then by all mean more will have to drive to work and create more traffic congestions.

Unreasonable Charges

Previously I didn't have to pay extra for bringing foldable bicycle into KTM Komuter Train. But recently I am charged RM2 extra per trip for bringing along my foldable bicycle. I think it's unreasonable to pay extra for bringing foldable bicycle since in folded form, the bicycle doesn't occupy much space. The buses never charged me extra for bringing foldable bicycle. I can understand for charging extra if bringing standard bicycles. But it's unreasonable to pay extra for bringing foldable bicycle.

Kamunting to Butterworth

Timetable/ Train schedule

Effective 1st September 2016, no direct train from Kamunting to Butterworth and vice versa, we need to change at Bukit Mertajam station. I dont agree with this changes. I take train from Simpang Ampat to Butterworth daily at 7:46am and arrived Butterworth at 8:05am and I cross over to Penang using ferry service and my office starts at 9:00am.

By changing the route, at 7:50am at Simpang Ampat station ( usually the train will arrived 5 -10mins late) then we reach Bukit Mertajam at 8:00am and required to hop another train at 8:05am from Bukit Mertajam to Butteroworth. If we miss the transit train because of the delay we will need to wait about half hour? 1 hour ? for next train? This is so inconvenient to public using the service to work. Public transport should give convenience for public not causing hassle. The same during the return process. Unlike KL we have frequency of every 15 minutes but in northern line still 1 hour lapse for next train.

I suggest to maintain the current Kamunting to Butterworth schedule. The reason government encourage the public to board on public transport to reduce heavy traffic on the road, and give convenience to public thats the reason we have komuter service in most of the cities. But if the service is not par to public expectation then by all mean we have to drive to work and create more traffic issues.

KTM System Down

ticket system down

ETS ticket need to purchase either from website or counter, but the system down for two day. how to purchase?
the staff from customer service centre still ask me update TIME TO TIME.
Can management think of other alternative way to let customer purchase ticket when there are system down problem?

When can your ticketing system recover? Already 2 days travelled down to KL sentral to purchase ETS ticket. ETS doesn't have alternate way of allowing customer to buy advance ticket once the system is offline?

Please always checking the coach cause a lots of foreigners especially Bangladeshi men used ladies coach while used komuter services from KL to Port Klang.....it's really weird cause we, all ladies afraid if anything happened to us during our journey....Tks

Staff vy action

Super piss me off with their staff. It happen 15/8/2016 train depart 11am. I was shouted at the gate but this terrible rude staff redzuan ( Malay male) because my mom help me to buy ticket at kepong sentral stt and I'm depart from IPOH. This staff shouted at me said the ticket my mom bought for me can be cancelled anytime and is invalid (ticket bought at 14/8/2016 1230pm) I force to get a new ticket with no reason. This is just like robbery. If the ticket is in valid u shouldn't sell to public.

Always delay n slow service

Ur ktm service is very suck n slow.. Still the same.. Ur train always delay like 20-30minute.. but suprisely ur ticket charge is increse.. Shame urself please.. Ur board of director please shame urself too.. Seat at ofis like a puppet doing nothing.. If u say u doing something than show us?? Prove it.. Or u just a useless puppet 😪

Touch and Go

I like to highlight to the KTM managers that is plain stupid of your company to ask passengers who are using touch and go getting off at Sg Buloh station from KL sentral to Tanjung Malim route to walk all the way to the main station to use the touch and go machine there and walk back to the other side so that we can get out to the jalan kuala selangor. People who are using normal ticket can get out much easier because they are KTM staff checking the outgoing ticket but not to those passenger using touch and go,

Please be considerate to those to have walking disability passenger who are using touch and go but need to walk all the way to the main station and back simply because your company did not install a touch and go machine on the other side heading out to jalan kuala selangor road. Is that to much to ask your company to install a touch and go reader there.

Timetable/ Train schedule and Fare

KTM komuter service is getting worse when the route has change from Sungai Gadut-Rawang to Sungai Gadut-Batu Caves. Train doesn't arrive timely, for example there used to be a train arrived around 7.45am and the next train arrived at around 8am at Nilai or Batang Benar Station, but now the timing had changed to 8.16am instead of 8am. Did you noticed that I use "around"? The reason is that KTM is never on time. A 15 minutes interval is good but why change it to 30 minutes? A 30 minutes difference makes a lot of difference! This is affecting the traveling time of people working in KL city. This change is not reflected in the schedule. What is the resonale for having its passengers to wait for 30 minutes during peak hours. Other things to note,
1) what is KTM's definition of peak hours? Just make it simple and list down the exact time!

2) what is the train schedule for weekends? Please do not tell me to look for it online at KTM website because the arrival time of the train is never the same. What is the point of having a train schedule when it is not followed by KTM?

3) The ticke price / fare had been increased to approximately 60%. Passengers wouldn't mind to pay for it if your service is up to par. We are paying high prices for lousy services.

There are more areas KTM berhad needs to improve which I may list down in the next form. These matters need to be addressed very soon. Management should look into these matters and take action.

Ticket Scalpers Issue

Dear Management Team,

In regards with the subject titled, i would like to write a complain on the issue of Scalper Tickets from Johor Bahru to Singapore(Woodland) & Singapore(Woodland) to Johor Bahru. As one of the common customers who purchase tickets through legal/usual path, either purchase at the counter or purchase online, it is getting more and more difficult to get a single ticket. Yet, there are numbers of scalpers who sell out the KTM tickets in higher cost at market price just for own benefits. Imagine that, a RM5 ticket can be sold in SGD6 which is equivalent to RM16-18, with a profit of RM11-13/ticket. In order to do their "business", they tend to purchase more tickets to be sold out to the other customers who failed to purchase the tickets. This has actually caused the us in facing difficulty for ticket purchasing as the tickets are crazily selling fast.

Dear sir, I appreciate on the new policy in needing IC/Passport needed to for the tickets purchase however I believe this policy is not fully obeyed by the ticketing staffs themselves. It would be much appreciated if this policy would be fully obeyed to avoid the ticket scalping issue.

Online Ticket Purchasing Issue

I tried to purchase the ticket online at KTMB website but failed. It kept popping up the error message saying that the seat (e.g. Slot C - 1A) has been locked, please choose other seats, and the seat number prompting out is not the seat number that I have selected. Even I have chosen other seats, similar message prompted too. This is very frustrating, I can't make any purchase at all. What is going wrong? I need the ticket urgently, appreciate any assistance or information from you.

ETS service from Ipoh to butterworth/pdg Besar

I would like to suggest frequent ETS service from Ipoh to north, where now there is only from 5.30am and next is around 9.15am. We are frequent user of ETS to work. Would suggest next around 6.00am and 6.30am or 7.00 am for those are travelling to taiping, parit buntar to work. I hope that management will look into it.
